Hungary have no leverage, GDP smaller than Greece and looks like their economy is in contraction. They will be in need of some EU funds and would be wise not to bite off the hand that feeds them !

Well there didn't seem to be much stock available at 32.45 this morning for what its worth. Are you assuming Hungary is going to Veto ? The EU will be using any leverage and pressure they can to get Hungary on board ( no doubt with an exemption in their case for some time ) This sort of dis-unity threatens the whole European Union, and we all saw how difficult they can be when it was last threatened with Brexit.

From what I can see today the SP has been taken down by the bots and a few well timed sells.

I think its not so long held positions reducing risk and selling into the slow rise. I guess they were the ones buying a few months ago and it would make sense to reduce their positions all the way up rather than wait for a target number then try to offload the lot.

I'm sorry to say that I don't think that is a reliable way to value a company. If you look at what happened with Cairn energy and their big $1billion win over India, only a fraction of the award was put on the MCap.
The value here ( I hope ) will come from the prospects of becoming a producer and the reserves being revalued as they are monetised. All the better if this is with the backdrop of $125 to $150 Brent

Would any windfall tax not be more applicable to gas producers/ sellers first then oil producers ( also more profit for refiners. ) I would expect some creative accounting from companies to minimise any extra tax bills. I can't see Rishi no tax enacting such a policy, but there are rumours of a snap election being called, so if old nice hair ( and nails ) gets in all bets are off.

I suppose an algo program could be made which through reading other algo trades running can decode how that program is set to run hence the likely future auto buy/ sells. It does seem like a battle between clever algo programs trying to outsmart the MMs and make a few extra points at the MMs ( and holders expense )

Even better so its 6.29 Barrels per ton, $129 at yesterdays VLSFO prices. Shipandbunker com did have 6.35 as the conversion to tons so that makes sense.
Not really sure where you are going with oligarch's superyachts, but I think you might be suggesting we ( Europe ) convert them to FPSOs and use them to reduce our reliance on Russian Oil and stick it to Putin and friends.

Thanks very much for the formula, I can't say I fully understand it but I am getting 6.51 Barrels at 15 API and 6.45 Barrels at 13.7 API Which would give $124.73 a Barrel at $812 per ton

No they have not. What we do know is that a number of Italy's attempts to get the case thrown out have been rejected by the Tribunal. I somehow think something will leak before the result is actually known. It looks like from the litigators the final claim was in the order of $400m. If we win I would expect the award to be a percentage of the amount claimed perhaps in the range of 50 to 75% then we have the fees and split with the litigation funder. Then we have to wait for collection of the actual funds. Still should be worth an increase on the SP of many multiples. INMHO
