I should imagine Michelin ( who provide Tesla with most of their tyres ) are pretty worried by this crowdfunded disruptor. They are no doubt sacking most of their R&D dept as we speak and cancelling all of their long standing motorsport programs.

Spot on, I don't beleive for one minute these over powered 2 ton plus Electric vehicles are any better for the planet than an existing ICE vehicle. Doesn't the Tesla model X have 21-23 inch tyres that are over 1 foot wide ! Ditto the Porsche Taycan. Also the increased power and braking force of modern cars will no doubt use more rubber.

That really wasn't a pump and dump, although I don't quite know what it was. What we can say is that for some reason the market makers had to settle a U/T at 1400p and at that time my broker wanted 997.15p to sell me any more stock.

No, any holdings under 3% do not need to be RNS'd. This could total quite a percentage.

Its weird isn't it, I have seen similar on Kier Group which was the shorts reducing and manipulatng the price to stop it running away from them. It re-rated 100% up a month or so after. Stock on loan here 2.94% at end Feb up from 1.98% at end Jan

Its good to step back and get some perspective once in while isn't it. The previous performance you mention all happpened at what gold price ? I think we have got to factor in gold reaching and breaching $2150. With gold trading over $2000 perhaps up to $2500 the shareprice here could be staggeringly high.

So no net short reduction as of end of Feb
I suspect there would have been some more quick shorts opened and closed during Feb

What makes you think its 'highly likely' Russia will want to nationalise some mines ?
That scenario is far more likely on HOC which I also hold, due to the hard left wing and unstable government there. Russia has been going much more towards capitalism ( of the croney kind ) for the last 30 years or so.
