Hey Carrington, I dislike this argument immensely. The most obvious point is it’s a forecast, the numbers might not be spot on but the direction is the point. These forecasts were based on a continuation of policies, whereas this all changed, plus of course the cash injection & leaving the EU directly. Not to mention the economic boom seen across other global economic areas, actually every where apart from Britain. I think it’s fair to say the U.K. is missing out when compared to its potential and expected slice of the current boom. UK sticks of course up up, but this isn’t due to economic excellence it’s down to a low pound. If you look at leave claims, 70m Turks coming, loss of soveignty, EU makes our laws, no control of borders, immigrants are responsible for every woe, further integration and of course fishing forgetting to mention U.K. fishermen sold their fishing rights...... & then shut down proper debate with rabble rousing and ironic claims of “Project fear”. Then of course the unhealthy claims of “Will of the people “ and calling “judges enemies of the state” you really need to get worried when a cause you suppprt starts openly repeating Nazi propaganda. Then of course it’s the mistepresentation of the EU itself. There are huge swathes of people who think the EU is born from the Nazi party, or & this shows how confused the country is the USSR. Junker is some sort of unelected government ? When he’s an employee, without a single vote. Even larger numbers of loons, think the EU is a dictatorship. In my view and as an investor it’s dangerous times when a population can be fooled like this. The difference is leave side knew these were inaccurate or untrue at the time of saying it.
