Just had a quick look at last years. See below. All tips had been previously covered by him. All shares rose by 10-20% after included in his list within a day or two.

If Kromek is included in 2 weeks, as I suspect. I would expect the share price to increase by 10-20% likewise.

ST has a great deal of conviction when it comes to Kromek. 2022 looks like the year a few long awaited things will come to fruition. I wouldn’t bet against him including it. I think he’d care more about keeping his strong track record with his yearly bargain shares edition than whether people buy it or not. His yearly pick does seem to do spectacularly well. Augmentum fintech, Frontier IP, Duke Royalty and Metal Tiger are my pick from his suggestions and Kromek of course.

Might be the only thing that ignites Kromeks share price. Either that or appearing on Simon Thompson’s annual bargain shares 2022 edition next Friday - which would see a gain of 10-40% on the day. I think it’s got a 50:50 chance of making it

Some staggering drops today, Augmentum fintech which I luckily sold last month, down 16.5% today. Many other tech shares down hugely. How long will this sell off last? A lightening attack on Ukrainian capital is ft headline. I think the sell off is being over done, but will drop further I fear. Kromek will likely suffer here if further falls persist

Skid, if Kromek hadn’t made “ basic strategic and operational errors year after year” - we wouldn’t be able to pick it up today for a bargain price. We need to focus on the future, which will be lead by the quality of Kromeks products. All of which look promising. But even more importantly than that the markets which Kromek operate in all look extremely promising. A bright 2022 awaits. I’m increasingly confident Kromek will appear in the ST 2022 bargain shares edition in 3 weeks which will add a further 20%

L3Trader, I see x3 triggers that have the potential to have a dramatic effect on Kromeks share price. The biological pathogen detector, the nuclear detector tenders, the divestment of the CZT business. Each has the potential to have a dramatic effect in the near future. What’s your view on why these three triggers won’t happen, apart from Kromeks history?

Why is everyone assuming Canon will refuse to supply Redlens clients after purchasing Redlan? I assume I’m missing something...

There’s going to be a lag between the significant R&D spend on biological pathogen detectors etc and commercialisation. Kromek are 4th in the U.K. IP100 list. Got to look at the tenders in the £329m U.K. nuclear detector market. The £200m sale of the rival CZT business. The billions governments are looking at spending on biological pathogen detectors. Kromeks products are incredibly well placed for a fantastic year. If they sell the CZT, business as suggested, that would be £200m alone by looking at the Redlan sale. So much potential on so many fronts, any one of which will see huge rises to Kromeks tiny market cap. This years and next years forecasts are 98 & 60% met already. A very promising year ahead. Intellectual property is hard to value. Look at IP heavy Xaar last year... 20p - 250p in a year.

The Simon Thompson tip will give the share price a good boost tomorrow 5-10% I presume, the print edition will be published on Friday, hopefully cementing tomorrow’s boost.

I really wouldn’t rule Kromek out of featuring in the early feb bargain shares edition - which would see further and much bigger gains. 2022 is looking like the year it could all come together. Very limited downside especially at 15p and huge potential gains on x3 fronts in 2022, any one of which could multiply Kromeks share price - nuclear detector sales, biological pathogen detector governmental sales and sale of part of business.

Skid, I think fact that there is such a reliance on an ST write up rather than real business performance sums up the market more than kmk. Basu obviously irritated institutional investors into all leaving and for now kmk relies on a band of investors on the main lead by ST.

I’m not sure if it was a slip of the tongue or if Basu is incapable of not embellishing facts. But in the RNS about the £17m contract it was described as ‘upto £17m’ but in the proactive podcast he casually referred to it as ‘£17m minimum’. This unnerved me as I’m wondering what the reality is. This is his biggest contract of the year. What’s happening here?

What I want to see is Basu steeping aside or putting a serious investment in Kromek with his own cash. I’m not happy at all by the founder and ceo owning less than 1%. This needs to be rectified to gain credibility and the confidence of investors.

The future year looks promising and it’s unusual to have such a huge upside with limited risks. But that’s the situation due to past failures. Bargains are bargains because of defects that put off other buyers. Buffet famously bought a car damaged by a hailstorm with little dents all over it but otherwise sound. Are Kromeks many faults outweighed by the potential gains on offer. I think so and I’m hanging around.

Just tipped again by Simon Thompson!!! Boom time tomorrow. Whilst this is good news, (probably 5-10% tomorrow) it makes me worry Kromek won’t be re-tipped in a few weeks for his bargain shares edition where the huge gains come from 15% plus. But who knows. Whilst I was hugely disappointed this morning looking through the results I think there is huge potential here still as vascular points out on multiple fronts (nuclear,biological pathogen detector). At the current value 15p, there is huge potential here with limited risk. The question is how long will it take.

I would have expected some kind of update on the biological pathogen detectors. Somewhat disappointed with the lack of information here. Overall quite underwhelmed. There’s hope on the nuclear detector front I agree vascular. My only optimism for the next month lies with the strong likelihood of Simon Thompson including Kromek in his annual 2022 edition which would see a 20% rise on the day. If he thought it was a ‘strong buy ‘last year, and now things such as the nuclear detector market he spoke of are coming closer to fruition, with the biological detector news he spoke of last year. I’d imagine he’d think it was an even stronger buy next month. Perhaps 2022 will be the year it all comes together. My fear as a new comer to Kromek is that there seem to be a lot of investors from 8years ago who still are waiting for the corner to be turned.

A lot of contract wins were announced concurrently with both the previous annual and interim results. This will surely be repeated on Tuesday. Increasingly likely with the pathogen detector...

So many indicators that Kromek are close to giving us a dramatic gain. From small things such as the KAPscan name being trademarked in the US last month to the Institute of Physics honouring Busu for “scientific advances of immeasurable significance”. The foremost biological ware fare Cambridge expert singing Kromeks detectors praises in the FT. The CEOs mention of “serious discussions with multiple governments”. Then there’s the longer than usual wait since the last RNS, coupled with the precedent from last years interim results where they released positive news on the detector. Then on top of this we have Simon Thompson at the ready to turbo charge any gains in his 2022 bargain portfolio- where Kromek is a very strong contender

No RNS from Kromek for a longer than normal time and we’re in their stated timeframe now for commercialisation of the biological pathogen detector. I think there’s a good chance of some positive update on Tuesday regarding the biological pathogen detector.

Just had a quick read through last year’s interim results and noticed they saved the announcement of a £1.25m government grant to develop a covid only detector for interim results day.
Hopefully they’ll have saved a pleasant surprise for us at the interim results this year too!

Skid, I’m not so sure they would need an RNS for small sales of the covid specific detector. After all, that’s what they’ve already said they’d be doing. If I remember correctly a major irritation of yours was the failure to update the market regarding the reversal of a decision to manufacture a ventilator.

If I on the board I’d be very conscious of the need to kick start investor confidence in Kromek and I’d much prefer to give a blazing interim results statement, rather than drubs and drabs which sometimes even see the share price decline. I’d also be aware ST would be watching and that I was in the running for his 2022 edition, which would see a flood of new investors and share price rise beyond all his previous coverage

Less than nine days till interim results.

My prediction here is they will be around or slightly ahead of forecasts and that there will be some positive but vague news on the biological pathogen detector sales. Perhaps some very small covid detector sales will feature in the results, which since they weren’t in any forecasts might boost the results.

I think this will be enough for a small percentage increase on the day. However in this scenario I predict Simon Thompson will include his repeated ‘strong buy’ in his 2022 list in early feb which will see a 20-40% rise on the day. If the main business is not at a loss and there’s the promise of future biological pathogen detector sales in the near future, I see a strong possibility of Kromek making his list for 2022...
