Essentially Kromeks story sounds too good to be true.
They seem to have a great product that has huge potential in terms of government orders. However it’s got echos of an Elizabeth Holmes repeat. The share price seems to cheap for what IP is on offer, and the story of its products seem to good to be true - a solution to the one of the world’s greatest problems. But little of the worlds media, which report constantly on every detail of the pandemic, constantly, seem bothered enough to barely report Kromek.
It feels like a trap. Why aren’t there any institutional investors catching on? Why does Simon Thompson with his track record, on the other hand like it. Where’s that data from the independent accreditation? But on the other hand the Institute of Physics and Cambridge biological expert are singing its praises and DARPA keep giving them funding.
Kromek is a riddle, which is what makes it such an interesting company to watch for so many of us. It’s share price is amongst the most volatile with x4 massive price swings in the past two years. Nobody really knows what’s going on here for sure.
After much swaying and research I’m increasingly confident Kromek will be a good investment over the next year. My investment here is up 10%. But the huge volatility makes it difficult to hold onto when the price surges, you just know it’s a fairly frothy gain and best to sell when it does surge.
Kromek needs to prove they can generate sustained profits, and have exciting IP on top, to get serious long term investors on board.
