Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Not crips. Salt. Or much less of it. That is the key.
I started looking at TEK just a couple of days ago on the back of the UK Investor tip. Have been reading up on them and doing the old DYOR etc. I like the look of it.
I realise there are a lot of LTH's probably deep underwater . . . I have been there . . . this is AIM, it goes with the territory. But if I can rustle up a few bob in the near future, I fancy taking a small position here.
May I ask, who are the most reliable posters here whose comments will help my research? Thanks and good luck.
Good summary Muck. Patience is indeed needed.
However, I would be happy with a little surprise too. Another big trade went through today at 16.11 hrs . . . 350k shares. I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything but given the speculation about Director deals . . . wouldn't it be nice if that or the other one earlier (or both) were identified as Director buys?
That might be a spark to put a bit of a fire under the SP . . . and as a certain Mr Springsteen once said, you can't start a fire without a spark.
RNS tomorrow?
Good spot!
Also ties in with his referring to (stressing?) the point that ABDX are involved in LFT's for testing in "field and farm", in last night's presentation.
Obviously, we await official news (if indeed ABDX are involved). But if they are, then does that not imply they may also involved in the range of other tests that Folium are developing? All speculation on my part but it does seem that the big picture is getting bigger.
Thanks for another good link Muck.
I noticed the reference to FDA approval was included in the TIME article too. As for when the approval request was submitted and how long the process takes, I have no idea. Perhaps others know about these things . . .
Just BTW, this reference made me recall an interesting snippet from the recent set of results. Revenue from the US & Canada region in 2023 was up by an impressive 373% (2022, 182K and 2023 861K). At the very least that suggests a pretty sturdy foothold across the pond. FDA approval could/should see ABDX able to sell Salistick into an established and growing customer base . . . also as alluded to by CY in last night's presentation.
Nothing nailed on here and all my own interpretation but what I like about ABDX is the big picture strategy coupled with the steady, measured tactical approach to building product and customer bases. At some point the 'paradigm shift' CY referred to has got to be reflected in the share price.
Well I thought the presentation was very good. Chris Yates came across as a smart, business-like man, well across his brief. No bull dust but a convincing summary of ABDX's recent turn around and promising future.
No real news beyond what was in the recent results package but his expansion on a number of points came across as positive but in a professional, understated way. Good stuff.
Bella, I enjoy your insight and analysis of this type of trade. I am sceptical by nature. You are on to something.
Ignore BV, he is a tiresome pedant, he sees anyone more knowledgable than himself as a threat . . . and he is a properkok to boot!
@suedee & nursesteve, "sadly, i have to agree with nursesteve comments, especially ref salistick, if results had been good then why haven’t they mentioned it, ".
jeezus fellas . . . calm down. the results released yesterday were to 30 jun 23. revenue (and any other financial indicator) since june will be included in the next set of interims, six months after the previous fy figures. the idea that the bod should take to the airwaves with regular updates of what's happening in superdrug in s****horpe or tesco in teeside is fanciful. frankly, if the bod behaved like that i'd be disappointed.
now, there may be a few ti-bits revealed in the forthcoming presentation but if so, that must surely be seen as a bonus; the norm is for results to be released when the results are due, or, in a scheduled business update.
pi's bleating about their disappointment that they are not getting hourly feeds from some imaginary bod whatsapp group is, well tbh, a bit daft. and . . . it gives an air of negativity to the bb which helps no one but the trolls.
Re. forward looking statements, next week's presentation my reveal a thing or two.
From the 11 Oct 23 RNS:
Tuesday 24 October 2023 at 5.00pm BST.
The Company will provide a live presentation relating to the final results via the Investor Meet Company platform on Tuesday 24 October 2023 at 5.00pm BST.
The presentation is open to all existing and potential shareholders. Questions can be submitted pre-event via your Investor Meet Company dashboard up until 9am the day before the meeting or at any time during the live presentation.
I'm no accountant but . . . these results are to 30 Jun 23. We are now half way through October. So by the end of this year, 31 Dec 23, that is H1 of current financial year, IMO the goal of becoming a profit making company will be achieved. (based on figures in today's results . . . and a fair wind.).
This has been alluded to by the BOD in the past, today's figures suggest it is only a few weeks away.
I have a modest share holding here with ABDX but thought I might stick a spread bet on in anticipation of a good couple of days. . . starting today in anticipation of tomorrow . . . but guess what? IG are not accepting Long SB's on ABDX; closing trades only.
Not sure how long this has been the case but when IG do that it suggests to me that they won't accept the risk of too many Longs because the odds are stacked in favour of a rise. IMO obviously.
Yes there is a few days space between the two . . . which may or may not be significant. I have just looked at the RNS again and see that the Investor Meet Company presentation is after close of business, 17.00hrs, on 24 Oct 23.
After COB?
