Enough spleen vented?19 Mar 2024 12:47
At what point . . . will folks feel they have vented enough spleen? And stop doing down their own investment?
Come on folks, we have all taken a proper spanking because of the placing. None of us has enjoyed it. And it is reasonable, to an extent, to want to express disappointment, even anger . . . perhaps in the form of an uncomplimentary assessment of the CEO's business acumen and perceived personal qualities . . . if you must.
Personally, I think that is a pointless act of investment self-harm. Most of the angry comments I have seen on here reflect pretty badly on the posters. They do nothing to change the situation and I doubt AS will ever read them. It is just individuals venting their spleen and frankly, in a not very classy way.
If you have to do it, fine. But please, have a little decorum and do it once. Get it off your chest. Make yourself feel better. But perhaps realise that for every poster on here giving both barrels to the BOD (ad nauseam) there are probably others who see their comments as self-indulgent animosity, adding nothing of investment value; just weak-kneed vitriol and worrying naivety about how the financial institutions do business and do over PI’s.
If you think you have a genuine case, write directly and personally to the BOD. Or even the FCA.
Then deflect your attention to getting a return on your investment going forward. If you think there is no mileage in that, again, have a little decorum, show a little mettle, sell up and leave. Silently.
People coming to this BB now, as potential investors, would likely be put off after reading a few pages of posts. Trolls and FUDsters will be licking their sordid lips soaking up all the ammunition they are being given to fire back. The general sentiment around the share has taken a proper kicking, potentially slowing or stopping upward SP movement. And all this aided and abetted by folks who, apparently, want to make back their losses. It beggars belief.
And those of you who want to have pop at me for writing this, by all means fill your boots; it will have as little effect on me as it has on AS. It won’t change my view of the bigger picture and the science/IP, that I am confident will pay me back for my patience.
