Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
It's also worth remembering that good news on several other subjects could land at any time.
And . . . that starting threads with headings like, "No news anticipated until September?", is a gift to the FUDsters and trolls .
Looks like LSE have removed Wyn's latest libelous and defamatory post (plus my response) from this thread, after I reported it. Fine . . . some consolation I suppose.
But I suggested to LSE that they ban him. Let's see if they do, or whether he is still 'in the fold', as it were . . .
Apologies to the decent folks for the diversion but outright, libelous attacks on the CEO should not be tolerated.
Icecool, some good analysis there, nice post.
There seems to be a fair amount of talk about limited upside until results are published. Fair comment to some extent. But as more people "think about it" too, I would imagine there could be some new PI interest, as the info from the AGM spreads and sinks in. As for II's, who know what they "think about it".
ATH's not about to be imminently smashed . . . but a fair recovery of value in the near term is not an unreasonable expectation. (Not a ramp!)
I am just catching up on the BB from yesterday. I am very impressed with the quality of the the content posted here by those who attended yesterday's AGM. Some very astute and measured observations and interpretation of what the Avacta team said. Very positive, very encouraging. Not to mention their generosity of spirit in taking the time to write, edit and share. Thank you, to all of you.
BTW, when we get posters here claiming the BB is unreadable, waste of time etc . . . just recall moments like this. On the whole, I have never seen a better informed BB on LSE. (Though they all have episodes when the halfwits who disrupt it and embarrass themselves manage to temporarily steal the limelight.)
Anyone looking at Avacta and/or this BB for the first time, should re-read the posts of those who reported back on yesterday's AGM . . . well-informed, first hand feedback from measured, knowledgeable, rational people. Ignore the personal agenda-driven FUDsters, the intellectually and morally weak self-promoters and the care in the community shouty loons . Keep your mind on bigger thoughts and the bigger picture. GLA all the decent folks.
Trader, I am not and would never claim to be, an expert in anything. Any 'opinion' I might express on reasons for SP movement would be the unqualified speculation of an inexpert attention seeker . . . I am aware of that and as it is a look I prefer not to wear, I avoid doing it.
I also try to avoid engaging with trolls and FUDsters . . . just the occasional shot across the bows to remind them we are not all as stupid as they take us for. For example, I noticed how, in your knee-jerk response to me, you managed to work in a bit more FUD, presumably to support your trading agenda.
And . . . as I have a somewhat longer term view of ABDX than the average trader, daily SP movements are of little importance. I can see the bigger picture here, I am confident it will develop well. The only real issue is whether or not I have the patience to wait.
So as I said, crack on, trade as much as you like. But don't go down the attention seeking FUD route . . . it ain't classy. Trade away . . . in silence.
I usually try to make an effort to tackle trolls and FUDsters with a touch of style, a deftly turned phrase, a devilishly witty quip . . . but frankly, I've had it with your type . . . Trader 90 . . . you are talking garbage.
Your last post was unsubstantiated, subjective, unqualified opinion, typical of manipulative trading agenda. Knock it off mate. We've heard it all before. If you want to trade . . . crack on . . . but don't treat us all like eejits with your transparent, self-serving FUD and just trade in silence . . .
Timster, I realise it is impossible to prove. I may be wrong
Mr Adventurous appeared about the time NDN disappeared. Lots of post content uses similar vocab and vernacular as the NDN used, i.e. comments about MM and Ophidian, the tendency to call folks morons etc.
As for being a good poster, I agree . . . at times, when he isn't being a pedantic know-all. But seriously, that is where the schizophrenia shows through. His different ID's have different personalities.
Anyway . . . in the grand scheme . . . not important.
"This is too good to miss. Thornogson temporarily unbinned."
Give it a rest BV.
Your latest, BV, incarnation is another NDN log in. We have known it for months.
You are yet again having a conversation with yourself in the form of the Thorneggy ID . . . for the purpose, I suppose, of entertaining yourself because you think you are clever and we are stupid. Recently you have used other ID's to stir the FUD pot and disrupt. I suspect Sagetrade is also one of yours.
You think it is amusing. Others think you have personality disorders . . . I think you are showing schizophrenic tendencies. And I imagine most posters just find it tedious too. Grow up, or get help.
This Richard guy used to post on this BB 2-3 years ago (can't recall his moniker) but he was received with some degree of scepticism. He runs (ran?) a business in Manchester and claimed to be successful, inferred he was well-informed/connected etc .
Personally I can never understand why apparently wealthy, successful people have to seek popularity on free social media platforms. And that the basis for their 'credibility', such as it is, is 'rumours' heard on Twitter, WhatsApp. Doesn't add up to me.
No disrespect to anyone who thinks he's genuine but personally, it sounds like just one more anonymous, self-aggrandising voice from the social media wilderness. If Dr Smith mentions his mate Richard in an RNS, I'll take it all back.
Morris
"Some may be happy with 18 months of silence on DX, for other its not great and it's difficult to understand. "
Are you serious? What utter nonsense. Click on the RNS tab at the top of the page . . . . ya eejit.
It is pretty clear that the most vociferous, negative, dubious etc posters on here are the least informed . . . to the extent that they do not even read RNS's, presentations etc . . . but just make air headed comments, usually driven by weakness and spite.
