Things don't look or feel good here at the moment, tbh. I can't pretend to know the answer. It is what it is.

I have to remind myself that I bought in for what I saw as the potential of the company. I still hold out hope on that front, however, the great unknown is the time period required for that potential to materialise. I think I got that bit wrong. But that doesn't mean it won't still happen at some point. It's a bottom drawer job now, IMO.

Hello Muck, as ever your views are sensible, reasonable and honest. Like others, I fully understand your current dip in enthusiasm levels and feel the same way.

To be honest, I'm flummoxed as to how to describe the current situation with ABDX but I find it hard to imagine that after all the progress they have made, the relationships they have established, the contracts (albeit not huge) that they have won, the reputation they are building, the awards, the expansion plans etc etc . . . there will not be a decent increase in value at some point. Though clearly the question is, what is the time frame for that and equally clearly, a few of us are thinking that timeframe is slipping rather than tightening. That said, like you, I am not letting my shares go. I have done a little rainbow chasing in the past and with my luck, ABDX would multi-bag the day after I sold. So it's a hold for me.

May I echo others' sentiments about your unmatched contributions to this BB in the form of research and analysis and thank you for them. You may not be appearing here as frequently in the future but you will always be warmly welcomed.

Very pleased to see this bit of positive news drop from the blue. If we can just build on it with encouraging figures in the interims, who knows . . . perhaps a little momentum will start to build.

I get the feeling that there are a few people waiting on the sidelines here and a reasonable uplift in the SP would draw them in, adding to the momentum. We live in hope.

HarChris, hello, I very much enjoy your posts and appreciate you sharing your insight here and elsewhere.

However, I respectfully disagree with your view that ignoring trolls makes them go away. That is not my experience, especially on LSE. These people have multiple personality disorders, in particular narcissistic tendencies, that render them unable to stop being attention seeking trolls.

In the case of our Derek, he called into question my integrity. When challenged he doubled down with a barrage of goading insults over a period of months. In life, and on this bb, I do not ever allow people to question my integrity and go unchallenged; banter and leg pulling, is fine. I have friends and family who read these bb's and I won't allow some sociopathic, no-mark, stranger to damage my standing with people I know and respect.

If the troll sees sense and stays silent, then the issue will not need to be 'dealt with' again.

I'd like to echo the positive vibe. This is very prestigious recognition of a relatively small company and a real feather in the BOD's cap. The money is useful but the kudos is worth more and I am sure will be noted by peers in the industry and customers, existing and potential.

If only I had some spare cash to top up. Another incursion into the depths of the sofa might be in order.

Perhaps a little frustrated that things appear to be slow and quiet but in all honesty, I have commented in the past that I am comfortable with the BOD's 'no razzamataz, AIM-style-bulldusting shenanigans', so I can hardly complain now. Either folks can see the bigger picture or they can't.

If that doesn't please the traders and the johnny come-lately opportunists . . . then tough! Their problem, for failing to understand how ABDX are developing and the likely timetable that goes with it.

VS, I think you have point there, "It's not just money".

At that level, they probably all have a fair amount of money and a deal/sale would make that a certainty. But a as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs tells us, at the higher levels of achievement, i.e. "self-actualisation", what matters more than money is acceptance by peers, kudos etc.

Which, incidentally, is something that many on this BB, especially the FUDsters, could never understand. Hence their petty, meaningless attempts at faux knowledge. I'm happy to leave the clever stuff to the clever people . . . and bask in their reflective kudos when we reach the end game.
