Dr Goldberg did not whiz his CV over to Avacta on the off chance there was an opening. He was head hunted. His recruitment would have been a months-long negotiation. Is it possible he reserved his final decision to join Avacta until he saw a 'rubicon moment' when a positive outcome was assured? I'd like to think so.

Fair point scardey. Just goes to show, that us lowly PI's don't just have to research our investments and take the decision to accept the risk . . . after grafting for the hard earned in the first place . . . we also have to watch our backs against covert and not so covert, attacks from the city spivs.

Toatie, good post. A salutary tale of investing on AIM. It is a minefiled and us PI's are encouraged to cross it . . . wearing a blindfold and pushing a lawnmower . . . or something like that.

In my experience, it is the shares that look like they have the most potential that get the most attention from the thieves, liars and scoundrels. i.e. and as mentioned on this BB tonight, EUA. Those who know it will be familiar with the way the market has manipulated it. This is not a ramp btw but from my experience with the likes of GKP, the last men standing will take the prize. I think (DYOR) that EUA will be the same.

And I think (DYOR) that Avacta will be the same.

One other thing, I recall one of our illustrious MP's, Nadhim Zahawi , was a prominent player in the GKP saga (it being an oiler in Kurdistan and him being of Kurdish origin). And low and behold, currently Parliamentary Under Secetary of State for COVID 19 vaccine deployment. I am not casting aspersions . . . but it's kind of interesting how certain types of people always seem to be around certain types of money making opportunities. Hey! maybe it's nothing . . .

But I still think the last men standing will take the prize. So for all the bedwetters out there . . . if you want to voluntarily hand your money (and the profit if may have made) over to the scoundrels, then crack on . . . sell up . . . move on . . . but please, do it silently.

This bit, "AS has lost the trust of investors hence the fall in share price" is impossible to substantiate and seems to me to be just a downright lie. I for one have lost no faith in Dr Smith. He is doing a good job in difficult circumstances. The fact that intellectually-lightweight eejits like you cannot see that does not mean it is not true.

Have a look at his posting history, on this and other shares. If he is a trader, he's apparently not very good at it.

The view that everything is really ok because Avacta will simply pivot to Europe for sales seems to me to be totally deluded. . . . This is just nonsense. Sadly, Smith has totally messed this up. Incredible and unexplained delays have done for us.

I checked out the prospectus for the de-ramping course. The entry requirements put me off:

I thought the lobotomy part was a bit outdated to be frank. So thought I should make further enquiries from graduates of the course . . .
