Just to clear up any confusion people may have felt when I posted my last eighteen posts in order to, but with no guarantee of, clearing up the confusion caused by a previous poster’s comment which, frankly, got me a bit confused as well . . . I would just like to say, once and for all, unless of course it needs to be repeated at some point, perhaps in the future, soon, shortly (lol – see I have a sense of humour too!!!!!!) that what that poster said about what I said, is not actually what I said at all. What I said, and those of you who actually read my posts in order to educate yourselves (and good on you, it is good to be aspirational, while remaining humble, like me) will already know this . . . well hopefully anyway, . . . was that I am not sure how it is that a person can make reference to something that has not yet happened but in such a way as to suggest that it might happen or might not happen at some point in a non-defined but feasibly possible moment of time in the future and not call that ‘supposition’, is beyond my ken. (I used over 400 words to explain it, so how you could fail to follow me is also beyond my ken). I blame Ken. [. . . only joking . . . it’s just me being really nice and light-hearted and softening the hammer blow of my incisive truths with a little self-effacing humour. That’s just the way I roll, er, … dudes.] Alas I digress . . . perhaps not ‘supposition’ exactly, more prediction, no, not prediction, er . . . expectation or something similar, like guessing or assuming or supposition or, oh wait I already said not supposition, well you know what I mean, . . . I didn't see the programme. Was the word 'Affimer' used, at all, by anyone?

That, I would suggest, is the crux of the distinction that needs to be made. Both on the context of LFD vs LFD and LFD vs PCR. Basically, even the so-called experts are less well informed that some of the regular posters/reader on this BB.
