I'd say it's got to be a bargain at this price and would definitely top up if I could afford it. This is less than it was for most of 2020 when Covid hit and oil tanked. We know that OPEC are happy to support the oil price, so oil is unlikely to completely tank. The war in Ukraine doesn't look like ending anytime soon and even if it did Russia would still be a pariah for a long time still. Then there's several catalysts in the pipeline and surely one them will come off this year. And let's not forget the hedges. The spanner in the works is that sleepy Joe needs to refill the strategic reserves and can't do it at high oil prices, so there's going to be some downward pressure on oil because of that. All in my humble opinion of course.

I was just quoting from the presentation. You're probably not aware, but he's the CEO and they hold a 25% stake in Kenya. I've been ramping this since I first bought in March 2020 and I'll continue to do so till I sell. I've made no secret of that and so what....the purpose of buying and holding shares is for them to go up so you can sell them.

This RNS was released on the 25th of January and the revised FDP was submitted in early March, so hopefully they ironed out all the kinks and there'll be no issues with EPRA approving it.

Thanks Darkside68. That is very positive and the circumstantial evidence is certainly adding up. So looks like we should know either way by end of June. Tullow did work with them to revise the FDP, so hopefully there won't be anything preventing them from approving it.

So you're hanging around posting here because .....

a) You're Mother Teresa's reincarnation who has come to save us from losing our money on TLW shares.
b) You're the new Messiah, but no one knows it yet.
c) You're short TLW and are trying to deramp this share.

Why can't you be honest and state that you're short when giving your opinion. Always amazes me how people who are short can't seem to openly admit it on here and just pretend they don't hold.

It's not moving up as sentiment in TLW has changed and what I've posted above is just circumstantial and obviously doesn't necessarily mean the deal is done. However, while to me the signs look good, the MM's won't base their investment decisions on this type of speculative information. Plus no one thinks it will ever happen as it's been dragging on for years. Assuming the deal does get done, this will move up very quickly a week or so before the announcement when the news leaks to those privy to the information before it gets made available to the plebs.

Excellent news.....vultures are moving on. Wonder if they've heard something through the grapevine. We're almost 4 months into the year and I think Rahul said the gas sale would last Ghana till about the middle of the year. So can't be long before we get some more info on that.

I still find it hard to believe people think Kenya is not going to happen .... there's just too much evidence to suggest otherwise. Must surely only be a matter of time.
