Bought at 2582. I have cash waiting for a possible top up.

Have realised what few stocks were left in profit - that didn't include AV.

Will sit on carefully washed hands for a bit.

Don't know on this one. However, what I read about the COVID19 virus suggests that it is simply another bug that our species will develop its own resistance to, much as it has to other corona viruses. A vaccine will probably become available.

It seems that many who contract it aren't badly affected at all while more vulnerable victims c. 2-3% die. This is not at all unusual for viruses that are already in circulation. In my family there are 2 members at high risk just as they are from 'flu, difference is they have had a 'flu jab.

This virus emanated from another species that the Chinese eat. I'd suggest that the UK does not want to lower food standards as part of the Brexit 'dividend'. e.g. accept chlorinated chicken.

Yesterday I bought a new stock that had plunged more than HSBA and today it has bounced back into profit. Sadly most of my portfolio is showing red :-( but am I bothered?

Be handy for the next ISA top up.

Decided to take profits on LGEN while keeping AV. and gone for a real victim. A good time to buy low? We shall see..

The share price is one clue.

I am no financial adviser and invest with money I can afford to lose. However I have done reasonably well by buying on the dips in companies like RDSB, BP., AZN and so forth. I'll give AIM a look but the spread is often a killer.

Just thought I would take a profit, reinvest some elsewhere, and hold the rest in cash.

May is a long way off and I might get back into AV. cheaper..

Got back into RDSB this morning having used them to trade. Surprised they haven't plummeted since as I was keeping a cash reserve to catch the falling knife. Maybe should buy my first BP shares instead? They must be close to a steal at this price unless I have missed something.

Have topped up at 534p. No big clouds on the horizon other than the continuing fallout from Woodford and HL as far as I can see.

Yeah, rubbish as usual. :-(

Is LGEN vastly overvalued? I would agree that AV. appears undervalued if you ignore its leadership weakness.

It may compensate to some degree because of its fund management strength.

Day-to-day movements can make profits. Especially with a company that's like a yo-yo.

Some big trades after hours.

I do wonder if the big players just park their money at AV. while they look for something interesting to do with it.

You'd be wise to take your profit now, if not sooner.

Plenty of good growth stocks, some pay a decent dividend too.

This company is raising its profile. Wish I had more but I think it will dip again so I will hang on.

You only make a loss when you have to sell.
