I’ve read this RNS twice and I see zero reason for the doom. Second optimisation phase started on time, changes are going in, and they’re getting promising results at every step. The OEM’s top teams are still there, sleeves rolled up, working through it. Nowhere does it say they’ve downed tools and left site

The decision on the secondary float section comes in a week, tantalum interest is on the table, and the plant issues are being solved, not ignored

Not sure why the usual people keep banging on about a placing like it’s some big reveal. Of course there’s going to be a raise, everyone knows the company doesn’t have funds for full production! George has basically said as much, and it’s obvious

But the constant drumbeat of negativity is tiring. Let the OEM do their job, let the company finalise this optimisation. If the plant delivers consistent SC5.5 or above, then there’s every chance of external funding at better terms, possibly after the current headroom is used

There’s no inside scoop here, a raise is coming, yes, it’s tiny! But pretending this is new info or some secret bombshell just to derail sentiment is getting very very long. I’m also pretty certain we’ll hear something by Friday. Let’s focus on what matters, progress

Great to get the RNS confirming that the second phase of optimisation is now officially underway. With the OEM leading this and key tweaks already identified, we should know pretty quickly how effective the changes are. George came across confident and relaxed in the recent StockBox interview, which says a lot. If things go to plan, the upside from here could be massive. Everything hinges on execution now, and it looks like we’re finally in capable hands

Agreed. The mill is undersized in its grind so with a small tweak to increase size to 150 microns we should see a good improvement

So ironically, “fixing” the problem doesn’t require doing more, it actually means doing less, letting the mill produce a slightly coarser product. That’s a straightforward operational adjustment, not some major rebuild or capital expense. It’s about tweaking the comminution circuit to hit the sweet spot

The fact that this was missed before is frustrating, but it also means that the solution is now well understood, simple, and actionable, which bodes very well for upcoming performance

Just watched the latest George Roach interview on StockBox and I genuinely believe this is the turning point for PREM and Zulu

The plant is finally doing what it was built to do. Producing clean, high-grade (>5%) spodumene with consistent performance and stability. Not just one lucky batch, multiple days of solid results

The OEM is now running the show, identifying and fixing everything from grind size to reagent balance and they’re staying on for a second 5-day test to fine-tune the operation. That’s not troubleshooting. That’s optimisation

The ore body is proving itself, as is the plant finally. The process is stabilising. And confidence is clearly returning, you can see and feel the shift in George

It’s taken longer than hoped, but it looks like we’re finally at the edge of commercial reality, the point where production, revenue, and serious institutional interest becomes very real

Yes, it’s clear further investment will be needed, but where that comes from, we’ll just have to wait and see

For long-term holders, this is what they have waited for. For everyone else this could rerate fast. We know how fast Prem can move with the right news

There’s been some debate (mostly from the usual troublemakers) claiming the clean white froth seen in today’s Zulu site video might be talc contamination

I’d already done some proper research today before posting about the colour difference, also had a direct reply from Prem

Here’s the reality & from my own research -

Talc contamination does not produce clean white froth. It typically creates a froth that is: Dull grey, greenish-grey, or beige in colour. Oily or slimy in texture

George confirmed the same to me directly this evening -

“Talc contamination is not clean white froth. It is distinctly off white/grey.”

He also noted that the ore body at Zulu can encounter some serpentinite/amphibolite presence, but the material from the EPO claims (future feedstock) is granite-hosted and entirely free from talc.

So no, what we’re seeing today in that flotation video is not talc contamination. It’s a clean, well-behaved froth and, if anything, a very promising sign

Zulu has never reported any issues with talc contamination, talc is a known problem in some lithium projects because it can float and interfere with spodumene recovery, but there’s been zero indication this has ever been a problem at Zulu

Now compare it to the video posted this morning from site, look at the colour of the froth:

The difference is stark. That clean, white froth is a very good sign, it usually indicates:

• Higher spodumene content

• Less gangue/waste material

• Better reagent control

• Improved plant stability and performance

Brown froth like in 2023 usually means poor separation and contamination. This white froth suggests the OEM insert upgrades and tweaks are finally having the desired effect

Subtle but important, and exactly what we should be seeing if things are starting to click
