We are in a very strange situation whereby there is a shroud of secrecy over our share. The PR/comms company apparently does nothing to promote it - in fact they seem to exist to deflect enquiries. Meanwhile, the jaw-dropping scandals of Innova ‘repurposing’ and Porton Down bad science have knocked us for six, but we are just supposed to take that on the chin. So, yes, I say tell us the full story or give us a sign that you are still with us.

The sale of shares to fund house purchase certainly had a devastating effect on the SP, so why would the contrary not be the case? Either he should report on sales or prove faith in the company by repurchasing shares.

I remember being an early investor in ARB which has a very responsive CEO. When investors urged him to buy some shares in his own company as a sign of faith in the future, he did so. It’s been a while now since Al bought his house. He must have a bit of money in the bank, and hopefully a lot of faith in the direction of travel. It would be a big boost to shareholders’ morale if he - or any member of the AVCT board were to buy shares right now at this low point. Do we all agree?

Yes, scandalous. This is what Scardey-cat has been alerting us and our dear MPs to for a while now. Seems that none of them cares.

But if our PCR tests are set at 40 amplification cycles, they could pick up on infections that occurred before the holiday even started. Until they dial down PCR to reflect true infectiousness (27 cycles according to AS) lateral flow tests are always going to look inadequate if they return a negative result and the ‘confirmatory gold standard’ test comes back positive.

All governments apparently wilfully ignorant of this flaw in the testing regime.

AVA6000

Avacta will file a CTA application as soon as possible for a phase I dose escalation study for its lead preCISIONTM pro-drug chemotherapy AVA6000 pro-doxorubicin. A positive outcome to this phase I study would require an improved safety profile compared with standard Doxorubicin since the efficacy of this existing chemotherapy is well known. Positive data could lead to a significant licensing opportunity for AVA6000 with companies currently marketing existing Doxorubicin products or with companies that are currently carrying out clinical studies combining Doxorubicin with their checkpoint inhibitors. A successful outcome to the study would also open the potential to using the preCISIONTM tumour targeting technology developed at Tufts University and exclusively licensed by Avacta to improve the safety profile of many other chemotherapies.

Question is still valid. Why this one first? Other chemotherapies are known to be efficacious. There may be other reasons like patent expired longest, more people suffer from the type of cancer targeted (in this case includes breast cancer, bladder cancer, Kaposi's sarcoma, lymphoma, and acute lymphocytic leukemia).

Strange, isn’t it? I’m convinced that I remember similar Covid prophylactic claims being made for Listerine early in the pandemic, but now they are downplaying it. Presumably this is because they are owned by Johnson & Johnson who now have a vaccine in play.
