New Congressional report into Covid origins suggest it may have escaped from Wuhan Labs in Aug/Sept 2019. No wonder them pesky LFT manufacturers were so quick off the mark!

“It is our belief the virus leaked sometime in late August or early September 2019,” McCaul said in a statement accompanying the release of the report. “When they realized what happened, Chinese Communist Party officials and scientists at the WIV began frantically covering up the leak. … But their coverup was too late — the virus was already spreading throughout the megacity of Wuhan.”

I agree with Wydrum and wouldn’t be surprised if there were already two rigs on site. I reckon Mitchell would have organised a back up as soon as the original drill bit was lost.

It dates from 12 July when Bethell moved that the Committee should consider the Medical Devices (Coronavirus Test Device Approvals) (Amendment) Regulations 2021. (I.e. the ‘Goodbye Porton Down amendment).

There are passages of astounding hypocrisy:
“I know it is frustrating for the producer of any high-quality test to see its product lost in a sea of lower-performing tests, often at lower prices, as some rivals have not put in the work to assure their tests and ensure the sensitivity and specificity to be useful in the real world. We want to support businesses developing quality tests through a rigorous validation process. This will set those quality tests apart.”

“Frustrating” doesn’t begin to describe it!

You can tell when it’s silly season when the unfathomable SYME ends the day +47% and Avacta is down again. “Those who the gods would destroy” eh?

Out of curiosity, is anybody else experiencing a ‘Chinese bias’ in their business sector? A friend of mine hires out small diggers and other bits of agricultural machinery. He says that at the moment, he can only get hold of Chinese branded equipment. Nothing else is getting delivered! Nothing from Korea or Europe - just China.

A very smart move, I think. The Gov will be wanting such a thing in the run up to ‘booster’ season. Charge them double from now on, and payment up front.

It’s almost as though the government is wilfully trying to destroy the U.K. diagnostics industry that it is claiming to work “night and day” to support!
