Mitchell Drilling also have skin in the game here. The broken drill bit, sidetrack and washout doesn’t exactly cover them in glory. I wouldn’t be surprised if we try again at Tai, but with a bigger, better rig. Some said yesterday that it would be impossible to get a new rig out there at short notice - but not if Mitchell had already put it on order after the first drill bit broke. Who knows, it could even be there already?

Will be interesting to see the reaction. Some of us are going to be unpopular on Stocktwits! :-(

I seem to have gained a reputation as a conspiracy theorist on the Avacta board, so I thought I'd run this idea by folks on here.
What if the resource being mined here was too important to the likes of Elon Musk (or A.N. Other interested party) for him not to get directly involved? What if last week he sent some heavies out to Rukwa to tell DM how the project will be handled from now on? Perhaps that's why DM didn't appear in the last video (too shell shocked) and why he hasn't given any indication in this RNS as to how we proceed from here. I simply can't believe the switch from excitement and "it's there alright" to today's announcement
Something strange going on in my opinion.
I might get a new moniker to better reflect my domesday prophet status. 'IckenessAbounds' perhaps.

What does he mean by “washouts across much of the Karoo?” Is he saying that surface water has made its way into the drill hole or what? Sounds like we should have been keeping a closer eye on the weather!

@RMFatGB Moderna (up 333% YTD) looks like a good bet - or any company with skin in the game for booster jabs. Of course at some stage they will relent and focus on the treatment side of things and perhaps Synairgen and others will have their day. I believe Merck is planning a 'repurposing' of Ivermectin (which seems to work under the existing brand name, but patent has expired, so we can't have that!)

Bella, in previous posts you have speculated that perhaps, somehow or another, the spit test is still being developed. I truly hope so, because if not, the fact that its failure to pass Porton Down was not communicated to us via RNS at the appropriate time is unforgivable.
The communications presided over by first Yellow Jersey and now FTI has left us parched in a desert and prone to seeing mirages and indulging in constant speculation. Originally we subscribed to the sovereign test NDA theory, but now it's open to question whether there was ever a sovereign test other than the Innova one.

The point is, I suppose, that the two NHS messages (from Sept 2020 and July 2021) telling her that she has tested positive for Covid, coupled with the fact that she is still alive and well, should entitle her to some kind of Covid pass equivalent to being double vaxxed. After all, they estimate that immunity from Covid recovery lasts at least 8 months which is somewhat better than the record for the vaccine.

I believe he had to get a staffer to organise it for him though.

My youngest daughter had a positive PCR test for Covid last month and had previously recovered from a bout of Covid in September last year. So (if PCR is to be believed) she has had it twice - once with symptoms and once without. (During the most recent bout she took 7 Innova tests which were all negative.) Needless to say she is highly skeptical of the testing regime.
She was offered bar work at a festival in London last weekend for which she needed proof of a negative LFT test. She told me that a friend gave her a test with a bar code. She scanned it and was asked 'negative or positive?' Knowing that she couldn't be positive, she decided to see what would happen if she ticked negative without actually taking the test. She clicked negative and was given a clean bill of health.
I'm assuming that this is a Dido legacy issue and that a properly joined up test result linked to a bar code is on its way at some stage, but for the moment it's still a pile of crap.

With FTI Consulting as the Gatekeeper, it’s all academic. Communication both into and out of Avacta is stifled - a sort of PR a lack hole.

I have always forgiven AS the time-keeping because I believe that he was powerless I the face of Gov lies, corruption and incompetence. Had we had a more effective HM opposition, better PR and a free media, things might have moved a lot more quickly due to HMG egg on face from Innova and PD scandals.

Certainly Neil Ferguson's, 100,000 minimum cases a week rising to possibly 200k per week prediction of only a couple of weeks or so ago, seems incredibly wide of the mark.

Sure must have been upsetting for the people that funded him!
