Abzzba lecturing about realism on when the deal to sell will be complete is pretty funny. He, like all the other usual suspects insisted a deal was in place in October. It’s now going to January AT BEST.

The company themselves don’t appear to have a clue either - telling the market mid September the aim was to get it done in October. So they basically guided circa 6 weeks and we’re now on about 15 weeks and counting. I’m not scaremongering I fully expect there to be a deal but the whole thing has been fishy front the start and now there’s an added question of how much storage is being provided and at what cost to MATD.

Exactly Doc - but I’m sure he’ll be back AFTER the price goes up at some point to point out the pattern with his Captain Hindsight specs on!

It’s a remarkable misplaced sense of superiority given

1. He invested based on fundamentals (not seasonable charts) himself

2. He also predicted a December rally because apparently the 2022 chart was similar to 2024 and it happened then (oops!)

3. He’s admitted to be overweight and trapped here

4. He occasionally flips back to discussing fundamentals when it suits

5. It’s not even his own theory, he just read it on another site and know berates those who don’t have the “intelligence” to see it

You couldn’t be more wrong, I’m on AIM for high risk high reward stocks.

The difference is I at least acknowledge the HIGH RISK nature of a Mongolian explorer, whereas others like to portray it as a banker.

I rolled the dice and can just about live with my logic - if Gobi would be been positive I’d have smashed it. If H1 would have been brought on to production WITH A DEAL to sell id have been ok. If H2 had been a success or even met par expectation I’d have been fine.

None of those things happened, which I think makes me a touch unlucky but I should have done more work / research about the investment case and that’s on me. I don’t blame anyone, I just try to learn, stay honest and not believe idiots like Tenbag, Abzzba, Hamm, Proquo, WOS, Thorn and yourself who have all been so wrong, so often and yet never shown an ounce of humility.

No, instead you mocked the idea MATD wouldn’t be able to sell before they had….a deal to actually sell. You also claimed £5m - £10m WINTER revenue.

And here we are with not a penny received to date and the cash pile decreasing at a rate of knots - leading not to a 2025 dividend as you also claimed but an almost certain raise.

It’s a loss making business that needs to find and fund several more successful wells for that to change.

No issue with anyone thinking a raise isn’t coming, even if they can’t explain their logic. I just ask you come back with if a raise does happen and admit your mistake

Abzzba I dont think I ever quibbled your figures, I just repeatedly told you for an absolute fact what the cash balance was at 30th June.

It’s pretty simple tho - if you raise $9m, (only) spend $5.5m on drilling and still only have circa $3m 6months later the scale of the cash burn is clear and pretty disastrous.

They’ll be some easy money to be made here after raise when it crashes

$2.5m would be a disaster to be honest. I don’t quite understand how it can be that low, wasn’t that essentially the amount we assumed had been saved by virtue of the fact H2 wasn’t brought to production?

If the broker note is close to the truth on the year end cash position then a raise can be expected early in the year, as it’s clear they’re burning thru cash at quite a rate

That nighthawk story is bonkers. I can’t understand legally how / why they can obtain the names of the posters if they were only “considering” taking action.

It did also amuse me that the heading for the post was an under rampy 50p price claim. Even the discredited proven liar Abzzba only blags 35p!

I definitely think there’s a concerted attempt to ramp up the price by people using multiple log ins, I suppose it’s possible the other way but it’s much less likely.

No bot could ever announce it had just sold a specific amount of shares for a specific price before the print came up like I did.

To me it was quite snarky but as I say perhaps I misread the tone.

I’m not an oilman or geologist so I don’t really read up on the potential technical reasons behind things, but it’s definitely helpful to read some of the debates on it - I just don’t have expertise myself so don’t get involved. I go by the RNS.

If I want to read about it I will. Just because you got over emotional in a personal spat and thus exaggerated the likelihood, it doesn’t mean I’m obliged to follow.

I made a judgement that if Heron 2 isn’t commercial when they strongly expected it to be, it must deny the confidence in future drills. That was my assessment so I sold.

If that was for me - I don’t know anything about beyond what an internet stranger has shared!

I’m not going to pretend I fully understand it, and definitely not the likelihood which you said the evidence “strongly suggests” was the case here.

Ultimately I think we both share the same opinion there’s a risk to the business model.
