Brexit has created no such thing. Brexit is a clear and democratic instruction to the government to give them the coarse of action they should take.
Lack of commitment to follow the democratic will of the people is the cause of your so called "power vacuum" (It is no such thing as a power vacuum in reality, just a desire to go against the will of the people where no mandate exists for the elite ruling classes to do that.)

As you say, you didn't choose that path. Therefore it is probable that you have different standards. You would feel bad about yourself in that scenario.

Those people are the sort who don't feel bad about themselves, they think they are cleverer than us because they get our money, what fools we are.

Personally I don't attach much morality to fund managers, etc. thus guilt is not a problem for them.
