My pleasure. Four years ago I sold some shares in a Blue Chip company. They stopped paying me the dividend that other, newer shareholders are now getting.

Personally I think you are wrong on that. The money will be returned to shareholders who are holding shares at a date yet to be specified. No matter when people held shares if they don't hold them at the date yet to be decided, they will not get any money from the company. Why should they? They haven't been taking any part in it.

That's what matters, all this " a buy is also a sell" nonsense is just that, nonsense. It is quite easy to assess what matters to us.
That is Is a trade a buy from or a sell to the market? Don't get taken in by comparisions, the market maker holds the stock it is the market you are buying from or selling to.

AIM is NOT a matched market. If you are buying or selling at market size your transaction is GUARANTEED bu the market rules.

A tiny bit of code could sort out this "is it a sell or a buy" rubbish we have had to put up with for years. But it isn't in "their" interests to provide that information.

I believe that the old "problem" persits, ie: despite "LSE software upgrades" buys and sells as shown here are not necessarily accurate.
If you are taking your trnsaction data from somewhere else then fair enough, it may be accurate, but historically, here at least a "buy" is not always a "buy and a "sell" is not always a "sell".

Having bothered to type all that of course, having seen the recent rise some may be getting out with a profit. (I would normally have said a "quick" profit but that expression would be most inappropriate for this company, who do now at least show they have teeth and are up for a fight.)

That doesn't make sense, it can't "remain" at its second lowest, it has risen from 5 points lower to reach its current level, either a (new) second lowest level or a third lowest at 5 points avove the second lowest.

It must have risen from its lowest to 5 points higher making the second lowest this year, not "remaining" second lowest.
