@kempey - The first is for the Havieron mining tenement and the second one is for the road application. The road goes through various other tenements and they gave it, it's own tenement number. The construction of the road will be subject to the same environmental registration as the mining operation.

Well if anyone still doubted that Havieron is going to be a mine then here is the final piece in the jigsaw.

Environmental Registration for the mining proposal was approved on the 23rd December.

Well EP - it should have plenty of time to recover even if the SWAG results are dropped next week, gives you roughly 3 weeks to get ship-shape.

I wonder how much of the quarterlies will be "infill" drilling to start moving the inferred to indicated in the SE zone and how much of it will be "growth" drilling to start to get a feel for the size of the Northern & Eastern breccias.

We also had intel that NCM would be "upping" their capabilities on the ground to perhaps 12 rigs in the New Year and we should also have news on the commencement of the box-cut in preparation for the portal & decline.

All in all - it should be an interesting report and another landmark one in the journey. GLA - Paddy

I hope everyone is well and in fine fettle and looking forward to another great year in the developing story at Greatland Gold. It's my first day back at work today so been trying to catch up with all the goings on.

I wonder if we will get the Scallywag RNS tomorrow or will we have to wait until the first week of 2021 - personally I don't care either way, if we get it tomorrow then all hell could break loose or if we don't then I can see us hanging onto our gains and maybe even creeping up a little on FOMO before next Monday.

I was also having a quick count up on the weeks to the 28th of January when the next quarterly report is due from Newcrest and believe or not it's only 4 weeks from tomorrow night until they are due to be released also.

One way or the other it's going to be a great start to what should hopefully be a great year for holders in GGP once again.

Can I just take this opportunity to wish everybody a very Happy, Safe & Peaceful Christmas.

2020 had been both a sobering and rewarding year in equal measures, while it has been the most financially rewarding year of my life - I have not been able to travel to visit my own father who is in a nursing home suffering with dementia since February. Let's hope we get this pandemic well and truly kicked in 2021

Thanks to everyone who has followed my ramblings, I am suitably humbled, and I hope it has helped people make a few bob.

Looks like it will be early in the New Year for the Scally results now, what a great start to the year that should be hopefully.

I forgot that today was a sentinel day Strudel, looks like you are spot on mate - comparing to the 16th all the rigs seem to have disappeared. I presume they all head back to Telfer to be parked up and the guys fly back to Perth for a well deserved break.

We should see plenty of activity from the start of the New Year - hopefully an upgrade in the number of rigs, the start of the site clearing for the box-cut and the evaporation ponds and the excavation of the box-cut.

No drilling has ever taken place at that location @Candid. The only drilling that was ever done in the Scallywag area were 4 holes from the 90's all around the Kraken area - the positions are marked on the images in my tweet - TEA001 - TEA004.

None of them were drilled deep enough to penetrate the cover sequence so there has never been any results from the basement rocks anywhere in the Scallywag region.

Here's another one from back then which I did when I first noticed the drilling in that area. I plotted the regional geology map and look where that drilling was located - right on a N-S trending structure which intersects the NW-SE overall fault trend - very similar looking to Havieron IMO.

Have a look at the pictures in this tweet - it was over 8km to the NW from the area where they set up the camp at Scallywag, I think Hydrogen is saying that if the cover keeps on reducing as you go further west then conceivably it could be only 50m or less in this area where they did quite a lot of drilling it seems.

Hi Bamps,

The drills that Hydrogen is referring to were about 6.5km to the NW of Kraken / Blackbeard. I will try to find a tweet I did and post a link here. They were in an area that was not marked as a high priority target by GGP and therefore we have diddly squat information on any of the features in that area.
Something must have made Callum want to stick a few holes up there though. ATB - Paddy

@1gandhi - GH has stated that NCM will be continuing with infill drilling to convert the inferred to indicated in the coming months while also starting a "growth" drilling program to expand the footprint. The infill drilling will probably have the effect of increasing the inferred resource as it will be more detailed and the growth program will initially be an inferred resource.

We should have upgrades to the MRE as we travel towards the PFS at the end of 2021 so I think there will be plenty of milestones along the way to that one.

@Mickey - I presume you meant how far from Havieron are Apollo & Atlas?

They are roughly 3 - 3.5km from the centre of Havieron, Scallywag (Kraken) is about 6.5km to the NW of Havieron

@greenmile - it would certainly be nice to know one way or the other before Christmas but I like everyone else is just waiting for that fateful morning when the RNS alert bings at 7.00am.

I certainly feel like others have said that if the news were bad we surely would have heard by now so I'm very hopeful for good news - when it arrives? unfortunately I am in the dark as much as everybody else.

Have a look at this agreement signed with the Martu in 2015 Speedy as Havieron is included in the ILUA then they will benefit from the profits generated from any mining there.
