I'm pretty sure that ST will have re-assessed his thoughts after the developments of the last couple of months. I think the Juri-JV and the $50M loan has put any thoughts of a Havieron or GGP buyout firmly on the backburner for now.

I know he was pleased with the overall deal which he communicated in an email. If Steve is pleased then I'm very pleased.

Hi TT - I wonder if those funds track the Numis Small Caps & AIM Index? I heard that GGP were being added to that index in January so stands a good chance. We may see more and more of these funds taking positions in the coming weeks / months.

It is a weighty document that looks at the whole of the Telfer plant and all the facilities that they have there.
There is a lot of detail on the capabilities of the laboratories at Telfer - another reason why they are months & months ahead of us when it comes to knowing exactly what is happening at Havieron.

They prepare the cores at Havieron / Telfer before shipping it to the labs so you can bet your bottom dollar than they know well in advance of the independent assays exactly what they have on their hands so when Sandeep says the mineralisation is open in multiple directions from the results in the initial MRE you can be sure he knows what he is talking about and is not just guessing like the rest of us.

That's why I filter out all the noise and listen to what Steve Todoruk said - he's never in his career ever seen a major operate a JV / farm-in the way that Newcrest are doing with Havieron. Says it all IMO.

I don't think that list is quite right, surely Cadia would easily be in there.

They won't be using anything like that for hauling the ore - more likely to be a road-train type arrangement - with multiple tipping trailers. There's loads on examples on YouTube if you Google it.

Telfer can handle between 20-25mtpa with both trains running. The maximum that Havieron will be throwing at it initially will be somewhere between 1-2mtpa as they will be stope mining the high grade first. Even when they go to bulk mining (either sub-level cave or block cave) which is years away yet they would be looking at probably around 10-15mtpa from underground.

If Scallywag is indeed another hit then again years & years down the line that could produce another 10-15mtpa.

Telfer is going to be a big part of the picture here for the foreseeable future and it probably would be more economic and environmentally friendly to upgrade it over the coming years rather than build a complete new plant along with all the tailing facilities etc that would entail.

Agreed Tex - why sell the goose that will keep on laying the golden egg for the next 20-30 years for a quick buck. When Havieron is fully proved up the GGP share price will probably be close to the value we would get for a buyout so anyone who wants to can cash in then and leave the rest of us to stick our GGP shares in the family trust for the next generations to enjoy.

And remember - a fortnight from now we will be anticipating the next set of results from Havieron, loads of lovely infill drilling on the MRE section and hopefully a bit more definition on the breccias.

We are going mining - you gentlemen are shareholders in a company that are going to have a substantial share in the next Tier 1 mine to be unveiled in WA, what's not to like about that.

Our last assays from our WA sites were the Black Hills results - November 2019.

@Floater - thanks for the links to those articles. I shall have a read through them tonight.

Interesting that they are both authored by D.I. Groves who was the geologist than Sprott used to examine the HAD cores when they produced their broker note in January 2018.

He is a very prominent geologist in WA and I believe is THE authority when it comes to deposits out there. He was the one who said that Havieron was an analogue of Telfer when GGP were still chasing an IOCG model.

So we now have Telfer and Havieron - if Scallywag were to be another discovery then do those 3 make it a district / province scale system? All those other bullseye targets on our ground will become very valuable IMO.

@Sre85 - I agree, the only question in my mind is whether GGP will still be here when the "asset" transitions into development. I truly believe that we will but even if we are not then Newcrest will have to pay handsomely to get 100% of Havieron all to themselves and perhaps we would retain a royalty stream if that were to happen as I don't think the whole resource will be defined by then.

Clearly stating that the rigs would be increasing to 12
Clearly stating that they would be drilling in excess of 2000m

This backs up other intel that there are drill rigs capable of these depths either on route or already stationed at Havieron.

Is 2021 the year when we finally find out the depth that this monster goes down to - imagine if they hit "Telfer deeps" type mineralisation at a similar relative depth - what has it got in store for us?? Looking forward to finding out.
