To me that can be read as £500k per 100kw unit, so the market can stand that sort of price, in pps's market anyway where it's replacing diesel and not replacing grid.

They've just had a framework agreement signed, gives an idea of what the market is willing to pay per kW. And I think that they need good quality h2.

It's actually useful to correct some of the it's not too bad thoughts that are going around so that the scale of the impact on us and more importantly on decision makers in the rest of the world is going to be.

It just means a smaller pack by weight will hold the same energy, the limitation is the miles per kwh, which battery tech will influence only slightly. From a charging point of view it makes it worse for the local grid. If a 64kwh pack can now be charged in 5 mins and not an hour then the energy draw is 12x higher. So instead of trying to pull 64kw through cables, you're now trying to pull 760kw through cables. This plays nicely into the hands of those that can supplement the grid at a very local level, or buffer it's outputs.
