SysGroup delivered a genuinely inflection-point set of full-year numbers, with Adjusted EBITDA up 26% to £1.19m on revenue 8% higher at £22.1m, and management explicitly flagging that FY26 EBITDA came in ahead of market expectations. The shape of the year matters as much as the aggregate: H2 revenue accelerated to 17% growth (7% organic), H2 EBITDA margin stepped up to 8.3% from 4.6% a year earlier, and managed IT services revenue swung to £0.7m of growth after a £0.9m decline in FY25, reversing years of churn. Cybersecurity now accounts for 45% of the mix, dragging blended gross margin down 2pp to 47% but improving revenue quality and defensibility. Project Atlas, the AI-enabled restructuring, delivered £1.2m of run-rate savings while service desk headcount fell 24% and NPS quadrupled to 32. Cash conversion of 105% (FY25: 54%) left net cash of £2.7m after the £1.25m Saxis acquisition, which is already contributing cross-sell wins. Adjusted basic EPS rose to 0.4p from 0.3p, though the statutory loss before tax of £2.24m still reflects heavy acquired-intangible amortisation. The CFO transition, with Owen Phillips stepping down immediately and Craig Ormesher stepping up on an interim basis, is the one clear governance overhang. Crucially, the Board expects to exceed market expectations for FY27, with H2 momentum sustained into the early months of the new year.
