Warehouse Reit Share Price (WHR)

Broker has informed 113.4p offer , deadline to accept 3rd just two days time .

24/06/2020 looks like a part order executed on a rebuy at 107.

177p in first quarter 2022 , 76p this January .

It's an interesting situation and a bit of a win win for shareholders either way. Blackstone increasing their stake to 13.79% and looking to add to that, together with board switching backing, must make them favourites at this point. Telling market price has settled exactly in line with their bid (including dividend).

But it's not great for London market as a whole to yet have another plc taken over by private equity. It speaks to quality of the company's assets and their potential to even have these competing bids. Ball firmly in BBOX court but they will need a decent counter - hopefully they pull something out of the bag for the good of the exchange, and for shareholders with a longer term view.

Having invested much time and money into due diligence over WHR I felt sure Blackstone would counter.

I’d personally far rather remain in the sector and BBOX look well priced with a decent divi so I’m much happier with that deal.

Looks like Blackstone are attempting to push for a forced takeover as they secured regulatory approval to switch from a scheme of arrangement to a takeover. Blackstone seem determined to acquire Warehouse REIT

The WHR board have recommended the latest offer so all eyes must now be on a response from BBOX.

Any thoughts on whether BBOX is likely to respond.

Blackstone Europe took a step closer to securing Warehouse Reit today (Friday), after the London-listed property group backed an improved £489m takeover bid.

Basically the offer has been upped to 113.4p per share alongside the 1.3p divi... This is an all cash deal where BBOX was a mix of new shares & cash.

You could cross the pond and go with SPG, the own the high end malls in USA.

Pays a very good dividend which is covered too if 5.5%_6%
