Ouch, shows how easy things can go so wrong when plant operators are not concentrating 360*
A banksman is compulsory in most instances in uk with heavy plant, you would be shocked the sort of damage you can do with a 10-30 ton digger! Just with a simple flick of the wrist or accidentally tracking in the wrong direction because the track body is 180deg to the cab.
I vaguely remember something Colin spoke about the Chinese were having to do to avoid the dangers of collapse due to previous stoping. Would be interested to know the kind of regs these guys have to work under in places like Africa, if any maybe! Our guys cannot break ground without full utilities survey, GPS cable detection scan, and only after, will they get issued a permit to dig, wether that be streetworks or in middle of nowhere.
A quick take.
We raised 10m just over a year ago. We spend 2-2.5m a qtr on exploration. With just the unsold gold from the alluivial that we were owed in the last update that's over 1m in that qtr, let alone the other "little" bits that we are apparently producing. We have gone from 2 drills to 1 drill. So we are almost certainly at break even re money currently and that's before we get the serious money from manica.
To own up, I got it wrong with my prediction of assay results this week.
Finally we do have a massive amount of news to release in the next 10 days!
Finally got the the bottom of why the Alluvial update is so late:

A little on fairbride valuation, if is of help, can add 2p+/- for other hard rock and alluvials.
All assets from the Colin bird stable discussed, xtract from 36mins, valuation from 49min

Putting Racecourse out of the equation for a moment, could anyone provide their back of a cigarette packet valuation of each of the remainder of Xtract's assets? For basic example, Manica, X estimated annual sustainable earnings multiplied by Y years = Z value? I don't think I have seen that anywhere and it would be a helpful yardstick for somebody like myself who is not an expert in this sector hoping for some reassurance that the non-Racecourse assets justify a fair element of the current Market Cap. Cheers
Cracking effort Andy
lots more buys today than sells, hopefully some good news next week.
Rick, go away.
In order to try and understand the opportunity for near surface potential at Racecourse I found the following cross sections helpful when viewed in conjunction with the latest drill location plan.
I've put it together into one slide to show the near surface potential particularly in the South of Racecourse. Looks to me like there is significant near surface potential.

I should remind everyone the trucks are not to scale :)
Note the hole 24 cross section contains the cross section of hole 36 - you might remember me moaning about the outstanding assays for this one where the drill observations were provided on 17 Dec 2021. This hole looks very interesting.
***** COLIN HAS QUINTON CHECKED THE BOOT OF HIS CAR FOR THE 36 ASSAYS ???? *****
If anyone wants to look at the details from the relevant RNS which I've cherry picked they are below.

I didn't think the xtr webpage was updated every week... but hey we learn something new every day ;-)
Littleworth I checked all existing shareolders who own over 3% on the XTR website last week and this week and as per Andrew444 message below there has been an increase of 1.45 million increase
Bluebrazilians... I know his holding has increased over the last 6 months. Your post specifically said his holding has increased over the last week. I was asking how you knew his holding had increased over the last week ?
Quiet word for the one who admires himself and blasts a share he is not invested in - you have rather exposed yourself and have now become a bit of a joke character on these BB's DRAIM
Time to ease back on the meaningless retorts DrAim - you have no effect what so ever on the outcomes of any investment...
I mentioned before you should be listening instead of talking - it will make you a better person...
I hope you take my advice DrAim
Strong Sell
GL
Littlewing look at my messaged a few weeks ago he had 45 million shares he has in increases his holding by 1.5 million
Should be:
last previous update
last update was 31 Dec 2021 so he could have added any time from 1 Jan to last week.
For what its worth, Alex Terry holding's were:
Nov 2019 20m
Nov 2020 30m
May 2021 37.5m
Dec 2021 45m
June 2022 46.45m
How do you know he has been adding over the last week ?
Alex Terry is the reason I have put all my eggs in one basket, you don't put millions in to one share and hold for this long, and then add again over the last week he must be happy with noise coming out somewhere
gla
Andrew that's great news Alex Terry increasing is holding, because of negative comments on lse I have been checking Alex's holding on a weekly bases, definitely the place to be
Cheers
I note there is a someone called Alex Terry who works as a Programme Director at Barclays Wealth. Given that Barclays Wealth are also listed as a significant shareholder, I wouldn't be surprised if he's the chap. My brother worked in a senior role at Barclays Wealth until about 4 years ago, so out of interest, I'll ask if he knows him next time we speak.
Still confident of a positive outcome here. A little patience is hopefully all that's required at this stage.
If anyone is interested.....Updated Shareholdings as at 13 June.
Above 3%
H+ L 145,428,035 Increase of 9M from 31 Dec
Interactive Investor 103,055,868 Increase of 2m
Halifax Share Dealing 70,623,264 reduction of 4m
Barclays Wealth 56,463,590 increase of 2m
Mr Alex Terry 46,450,000 increase of 1.45m
A J Bell Securities 41,829,823 decrease of 0.7m
Alex Terry is still increasing. I would think that the round numbers of all his previous holdings implies he is a PI??
I really hope he does well and makes loads of money here :)
I & sure few others reported the waste of space.
All enjoy the day
hahaha, has he gone ?, pmsl
