My reply was not in response to your post but to highflyigman
You make some valid points, I was just addressing all the posters who have rose tinted spectacles on when the rampers post š©
Of course markets go up and down and Iāve followed Solg for many years when a friend tried to get me to buy in, heās still invested for all his sins.
BBās are dangerous sites especially when the ODDious couple post ramps
Tesla, I am as sour as you about SOLG, however the entire sector is down. In the last two years miners, both major and juniors across production and exploration have peaked in April and suffered the rest of the time.
There are SOLG-specific circumstances that justify the 14p, but equally if we were in a bullish stage for the sector, SOLG could easily be at twice the price.
So are COBR, ECR, OMI, and others, all exploration companies with specific issues that have been lifted when the tide was high and had a crash landing when the tide came down.
You could well just sit back and wait for a mining reversal and we could discuss the same SOLG fundamentals at a price point we would be happy to sell at.
Have you read the RNS over the past 12 months, when was the last drilling update?
Itās almost a year since they mothballed everything under the pretence of a strategic review which was basically just BS to buy themselves time and keep on taking their fat salaries in the hope that something better might come along.
Why do you think the share price is 14pā¦ā¦does that indicate everything is rosyā¦ā¦
Youāll get the ramping clown š¤” posting look at Noront, a bit like the other desperate ramper DBW, who lost his shirt on his last gamble believing a now jailed CEO ironically in OZ, itās like comparing apples with š©
Most on here are delusional at least some posters actual question whatās going on rather than acting like sheep š
About the technicals, I think that right now they don't tell us anything about the direction.
While true that we have not lost in the last few sessions, the trend is still negative if seen on a weekly or monthly basis. We need to break 16.2p to have positive SAR, and 17.3p to go through the supertrend.
Long way to go I am afraid, but it can change in a minute as we know...
What an excellent find, DBW! Thanks!
@Tesla, Solg are advancing Cascabel in readiness for a sale of that asset ( likely, but nothing guaranteed ), exploring drilling opportunities in the North. Scaled back and a sensible approach given thr strategy.
If you're going to come on here again and pass comment, get you're facts straight or you just look stupid. C
š¤” to the left š to the right
Stuck reading the š©
Please š Solgold realise some news, ANYTHING!
You are such a clown š¤”
Fir a rabid ramper you arenāt too bright, did you actually read the post
A) the author isnāt biased at all he admits he has taken a gamble
B) how are SOLG advancing anythingās everything is mothballed
In your desperation to dig yourself out of the large hole youāve gambled yourself into, you have ignored the content
What an odious ramper you are
The board was much better off with your self imposed exile
Quady. I'm in awe of your knowledge on heat pumps.
It even surpasses your knowledge on methods of block caving.
Could you possibly post your address so I can send you a postage stamp.
Then maybe you could write on the back of it a list of what your not an expert on.
Have you thought about going into competition with Google search.
Technicals starting to look promising...

Great find DBW!!!
Pretty much what I think ā¦.. there is risk attached but Cascabel is too big to be ignored
https://moneyweek.com/investments/6-stocks-to-buy-to-invest-in-latin-america
ā If you are willing to accept more risk, then you can take a punt on a project from one of Latin Americaās frontier copper markets ā Ecuador. SolGold (LSE: SOLG) is a London-listed explorer that has found one of the worldās largest copper and gold deposits. When its flagship Cascabel project is built it will be the worldās top underground silver mine, third-largest underground gold mine and sixth-largest underground copper mine. A quick disclaimer: Iāve invested a small amount in this company.
Building a mega-mine in a country that only opened its first large-scale mining operation in 2019 isnāt easy. But the deposit is too valuable to Ecuador and the world to be ignored. The most likely outcome is that when SolGold advances the project a bit more, a major miner will buy the firm at a premium to the current price. BHP and Newcrest, which already hold significant stakes, are the most likely candidatesā
Well, since some here are always generous with opinions, perhaps we could talk about iron ore's influence over copper with regards to economic cycles, and what we can expect from copper based on how iron ore is performing?
It must be more interesting that heat pumps.....
Apologies to everyone for starting this - I only intended to discuss the looming copper shortage. Still, there's bugger-all else to discuss.
Thank you for the information Tesla.
Seems I could have had a air to water and had cooling as well with a better COP.
Ah well. Mine is good enough.
Quady
I have air to water heat pumps and the heat pump can cool water down to 4-5Ā°c
Mitsubishi ecodan.
Mitsubishi donāt allow the reverse valve function in the uk, not quite sure why, but they do allow it in Europe and the r was t of the world.
It is just a dip switch setting that needs to be altered.
Other air to water heat pump manufacturers allow it in the UK.
Good afternoon Tesla .
I believe only air to air heat pumps have the reverse valve.
StukeyBlue has air to water and will have a better COP than mine and so supply more heat per KW, but doesn't have that functionality.
So I believe.
Lots of people who have embraced solar, batteries etc have A2A heat pumps
They are making money from heating and running their homes.
Early investors in wind farms have had a ridiculous return o their investmentsā¦..much better than SOLG currently
Stukey
Most heat pumps have a reverse valve and if you have compatible radiators they can cool rooms down as the heat pump can push cold water around your radiators in the same way a refrigerator works.
I have just fitted Jaga strada radiators.
90% less water needed so flow is better.
All the radiators have a heat exchanger and hybrid fan.
Sorry Shipright don't understand your comment.
If referring to heat pumps.
They don't run the radiators from the emersion heater.
I'd love to know if anyone has a heating system that runs from their immersion heater.
TheItalian, probably the best post in 2023!
Wow, I joined the BB to discuss shares and investment, we have ended up arguing about heat pumps. Given the advanced age of some here, shall we also introduce the subject of adult diapers, which might be relevant sooner than a SOLG takeover? I can share a link to get started! https://www.parentgiving.com/blogs/everything-incontinence/best-adult-diapers
Hello StukeyBlue I have air to air.
Understand your frustration with cooling.
My air to air pump can reverse and provide cooling as well as heat.
Quady doesn't your system having a secondary coil, sort of prove pactrols point.
You really come across as not to bright
