What else is new Ray? I see Priince Harry is sporting a fine pair of saggy moobs these days.
You can bet your bottom dollar a placing is coming.
IMHO as more time elapses since the PFS without SOLG raising money, currently 19 days, the greater the chance that a raise isn't required. Eventually, the market will realise this and act accordingly.
Mining Journal 15th March ’22:
‘It's rumoured Henry and Newcrest boss Sandeep Biswas have recently held talks to cut a takeover deal. The two companies ARE EXPECTED TO BID following the release in May of the long-delayed Alpala preliminary feasibility study’.
Why bubble.
Thanks for a Great Start to the week Damers!
What we are sure of is: We will hear from the company at some point, hopefully soon, on what the next step forward is or will be! Quite excited by our prospects! GLA!
Thanks buddy
Quady you still think production for solgold likely??, personally I think they will be taken over imho
Good morning everyone. On the 20th April we had the long awaited PFS. It was what most of us expected, and to our surprise the share price has fallen.
Many people on here predicted a bid.
Our resident ras.cist who crops up in many guises, predicted a bid within a week. Well like everything else this individual sputters, he remains 100 percent wrong on everything.
So what happens next.
Well we progress towards the DFS and hopefully in that timeframe, we get an outline of the Alpala financing deal, if not by then, then very soon after.
At that point we continue to the BFS and we start construction of Alpala in a short space of time.
However with the PFS under our belt now, I believe we are talking to civil engineering companies, and we will engage the appropriate skills.
The reason I say this is twofold.
First we understand from the PFS the HLD and so we can ask the relevant questions, and they can supply relevant answers and preliminary costs.
Second only by going to this next stage can the LLD be designed and we can start construction as soon as funding is secured.
As Solgold have been saying constantly, we will be doing things in parallel.
All the best.
Happy Monday folks.
The latest Ambrian Report rates Cascabel as the most likely Copper prospect IN THE WORLD to be taken over.
https://www.orocoresourcecorp.com/_resources/blog/RFC-Ambrian-Copper-Projects-Review-2021.pdf
The first Analyst rating post PFS was from Bank of America: BUY – 70p (only rated Cascabel and valuing PFS addendum @ £500k).
The Ecuadorian Government & the 600 people who have moved to the Cascabel area are convinced this project will be realised.
BHP / Newcrest / DGR Global / Cornerstone / Blackrock / Tenstar / Norge Bank are all stakeholders – for good reason.
Franco Nevada funding of $100 million for just 1% royalty share of Cascabel (before release of PFS) only proceeded after due diligence.
Darryl Cuzzubbo’s link with BHP cannot be ignored – he is the ‘mediator’ as TwoPorkChops has suggested.
The SOLG hit rate for finding Tier 1 prospects in Ecuador is incredible – already we have two (inc Porvenir). Of the 13 ‘priority prospects’ could we see a further four or more Tier 1’s?
What treasures are hidden within the next Rio drill results?
Precious metal shortage pinch point ETA 2030 – Cascabel’s scheduled payback start period.

Buddy the retail refers to the investors, not the businesses they invest in. Retail is indivual private investors like ourselves. As opposed to professional institutional investors.
Best of luck buddy.
Have a nice weekend
Its very basic knowledge Bud mate.
Surprised you did not know that.
Tread carefully, the markets are no place for people who have not got a clue.
Dumb money is a term used for retail investers because they will not usually have the same insight as the institutional investers who are referred to as the smart money. Obviously not all retail is Dumb, but sadly most are, statistics show most lose money in the markets especially with riskier investments
With regard to solg being a great buying opportunity, no matter how good an investment, no boat can float against the tide. If the markets correct, everything will go down with it.
Nuffy! Never heard that word before, genuinely made me laugh out loud.
Suits him perfectly!
How apt too.
Sadly I wouldnt trust CNBC or the people on it. They have an agenda, like many, and its nothing to do with the truth. IMO!
It’s lovely to see the parrots about, especially the one with the biggest beak being Buddy. What a nuffy you are!
Solg currently presents a huge buying opportunity at the moment and you can bet the MM’s are trying very hard to fill their boots as they will have lots of large buying orders to close.
I will be acquiring some more shares next week.
The guys on CNBC's Fast Money have been saying for weeks that 3800 is the threshold on the S&P to buy the dip. Should get there in the next 10 trading days max, then money and sentiment return. I'm relaxed about this one, them minerals are going nowhere. All the best Solgers, the hardest thing to do is nothing! C
To be fair, it's a very risky time the be buying high risk assets, with the American markets in free fall, surely if anyone was thinking of buying at the moment, it would only be retail, dumb money in other words.
Can you tell me how many shares you have agai red. I'm not sure I got it the first 200 times
40,000 traded....after the bell. Highest volume since 16.30 hrs...
Solgold - The sleeping GIANT!

Interview with Juan Carlos Bermeo...very bullish about mining...

Interview with the Vice Minister of Mining...Solgold gets a mention...
"VMV: We have outstanding geology. Take SolGold’s Cascabel project for example. The construction of the Alpala mine should begin in 2025 with production in 2028. Once operating, it will be one of the largest copper mines in the world. It has 21.6 million ounces of gold, 92 million ounces of silver and 9.5 million tonnes of copper, which is three times the size of our only operating large-scale copper mine El Mirador. Our incredible geology, coupled with a lack of historical exploration, means that you will see plenty more mega discoveries happening in the years to come. We have only just scratched the surface so far."
