The sp is unchanged and there is no volume. We might be terribly excited but the market isn’t. Probably because of so many false dawns.
Addinct I pick option B
All guesswork at the moment
addicknt: your explanation makes sense, but I am trying not to get too excited yet. Anticipation is growing though.
June looking good solgers
Full reply:
"You are correct that the SEDAR filing of the GM date at least a certain number days in advance is a Canadian Regulator requirement which is far longer than the UK requirement of 14 clears days’ notice (as per resolution 13 of our last AGM).
As indicated on the SEDAR filing, we will have a GM on 30 June and the notice of meeting containing details of the meeting will be made available in the coming week."
Btw, my explanation of why we haven't had an RNS would also explain why the original date for the EGM was pushed back by a month. Makes sense, doesn't it?
Yahoo Finance. Dropped back now.

32.49 to buy 33.41 Where ??
DBW, to my fevered imagination this implies whatever it is we are being asked to vote on isn't yet ready for release. Were it a simple technical motion amending the Articles, or something similar, it would take no time at all and we could all go back to sleep. Alternatively, and in a more exciting dream, the company and its advisors are working feverishly to conclude negotiations on something world changing.
Take your pick.
33.41 paid...
Hi DBW...I've got an identical reply from Fawzi...
EGM
“We will have a GM on 30 June and the notice of meeting containing details of the meeting will be made available in the coming week”
I don’t think they felt the need to draw attention to it lol. I imagine they’ll have to get one out sharpish now
There's nothing on the Stock Exchange site...yet. It must be of critical importance!
Are we sure there is one today?
Usually have arrived by now
Morning addicknt, I've been thinking the very same over the weekend. I'm not going to speculate anymore.
Although I do give a bit of worth to the rumour that "pomegranate's may be introduced into the nursery"
Time for a bit of work.
good posts over the weekend with people discussing the various possibilities in a reasoned and logical manner.
What's the betting we are all wrong and the EGM agenda will be nothing more than some arcane and tedious company law point, or some such, that needs to be included in our Articles?
kat2008, I almost wet myself reading that last post from yourself.......... hahaha. Jaysus, the poor little critters, talk about a horror movie! I will be smiling all day after reading your post,
Good luck matey.
" Lest we forget the seven children of Solgold. "
Buddy5, you poor sweet thing. Let me explain...... Damers was referring to the tragic events surrounding the 2017 AGM, when SOLG kindly ( they thought ) offered to provide childcare facilities to the shareholders who had problems attending the event, due to their childcare responsibilities. As it turns out, 7 children were left under supervision, in a room converted to a temporary daycare facility, in the Solgold HQ, whilst their parents attended and voted on the AGM. In a tragic and unforeseen accident, the Daycare Assistant unfortunately switched the Pepper Pig video for a compilation of Nick Mather's promotional speeches, and the poor dears were subjected to 3 hours of it. The events were quickly and ruthlessly hushed up, but there are still whispers of it to this day.
Jerry, I've no idea if these instruments are still common, but I do know it would be disastrous for us.
Buddy5 ...." Bit of an unfortunate choice of words. Let's hope none of our American friends who lost loved ones in the latest UK school shooting, read your post.
I think maybe their children were dearer to them than the 7 children of solg, we mustn't forget "
Yeah......for the children, Buddy.
" Bluto: What? Over? Did you say 'over'? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!..."
LOLZ Buddy5 upvote x 100. You are the Nigel Tufnel of these BBs. You should be featured in the Babylon Bee / Onion. Thanks for the memory.
You're off again over on another forum spouting gibberish and wishing further bad luck on everyone.
What is going through your head that makes you desperate to post on another forum, to have a snipe at other investors and revel in their hardship due to a drop in its share price - when you don't own any company shares in the first instance?
Do you derive great pleasure in reading about other peoples misfortunes?
Are you really that sick to stoop that low?
Your family would shudder at the thought.
Please try and contain yourself and show some decency between fellow investors.

For those who know a lot about these things……
How common is it for a company to issue a CB (or a straight bond) when they have no income to service the coupons?
