Covgaz you showed your colours supporting Slugs vile posts some time ago.
At least you owned up.
However remember Slug said a bid within a week of PFS.
May I remind you apart from being nasty, he has been 100% wrong on everything.
I have explained in simple terms tonight, so as not to confuse too many on here.
DBW posted Slugs explanation and said I was wrong, and then admitted I was correct in his second post.
Like you I doubt he understood what he posted.
I vote get quads off and get slug back in here ,slug is a much wiser investor and advisor.
Well done DBW, DMA no requirement for MM, as I said most likely explanation,
He's aliveeeeeeeeeee! - tks for the input Slugs.

today’s snapshot of the auction shows by the green arrow a time in force dma the rest are dead
Oh dear DBW ( friend of ra.ci.st Slug).
I am afraid it's you showing yourself up as a clown, as I gave the most reasonable explanation as why a greater amount of trades were shown than actually took place.
Hence on this occasion a MM was not involved, hence my explanation.
The Slug’s view
“TNCP trades can absolutely involve an MM if they make a market order at no limit price
The clown makes it up as he goes along ”
“What’s interesting is that it shows a scramble for shares....either offloading or acquiring lol”
“The post 1630 action was the vast majority of a historically large volume day
That is unusual against other high volume days In the past ”
Not sure who the clown is ??
Don't know Bubble, but if any of that lot, it's a small amount percentage wise.
CGP and BHP Quady? Or NC
TNCP trades are trades that don't involve a MM.
So could be a trade between two individuals or companies.
Red thanks for update on tsx , LunchMoney thanks also on pointing out these transactions could be realised on or about 30th June very interesting where this is going am guessing more to come tomorrow after close let's see
Thanks for digging that out rk, but wow... that explanation is just words :-) ... and I thought I was smart. C
No trades booked on TSX but price has been between 31.50 and 32.76...currentkly 32.13...
Most of those after hours trades are flagged as TNCP...
I have no idea what that means, but S/O on the Enquest Board posted a similar query the other day and suggested something was afoot...
Maybe one of you clever guys can translate this:
"I found this for TNCP and I am none the wiser. It seems technical and I'm not reading anything in to it but if it continues may mean something.
"MiFIR requires certain trades to be flagged as a ‘transaction not-contributing to price formation’ (TNCP) (or similar). The TNCP flag includes technical transactions, such as collateral transfers, give-ups and give-ins, and interaffiliate trades undertaken for operational purposes. However, it also includes a number of transactions that may represent an economic trading interest, such as benchmark trades (see Appendix A2 for more detail). Given this, it is possible that applying a filter based on the TNCP flag alone may over-estimate the number of technical transactions. On the other hand, it is not clear that all technical transactions will have been identified as TNCP. For example, in Q1 2021 there were 540 trade sub-condition codes within the SI and OTC categories across the European equity market universe.9 While some of these codes have not been explicitly flagged as ‘TNCP’, the precise economic nature of the transaction is not clear from the available information. "
Probably just no trades bubble
CGP up a nat’s
Tsx ?? Is it frozen lol!!:):)no movement at all
Well those after the bell trades are certainly saying something big is about to happen imho see you all at 7am gla onwards and upwards solgers
I agree that's an awful lot of after hour trades.
I for one will looking at my in box @ 06.59 tomorrow morning.
Best of luck all.
Hi Red
Two more trades since ….. business as usual my arse
This is nuts
Every website I look at including the London Stock Exchange is showing c 7m shares traded, but there's 9.415m traded after hours...
Transparent markets my a**e...
Lunch
Whatever anyone says to trade 9.415m shares (inc the UT) after hours is not business as usual.
And love or hate the slug he certainly had a better understanding of these things than most ( including myself ) on here
LunchMoney I wasn't accusing you of being emotional, I referred to people in general.
Yes little volume, but U/C trades are of little significance.
What may be interesting is if they are not matched and they remain as live trades.
Then we may see some movement when sets restarts as they need to be settled.
Our nasty poster wasn't telling us anything we should all understand as investors .
LunchMoney I have no idea why people get emotional about uncrossing trades.
It is just that, an uncrossing trade.
Buys and sells are matched and depending on wherever there are more sells or buys a price is agreed. It's the auction period.
The bit that might interest us is that any orders not uncrossed remain as a live trade .
I doubt anyone on here takes part in DMA but if you want to take part in uncrossing trades, you can do this though DMA or through your broker.
So in summary it's just a matching of buys and sells.
Really don't know myself tbh not seen this type of late trading for a long time am not guessing but agree LunchMoney maybe an RNS before long break as we will be into June which has been mentioned the month of a takeover let's see
