Okay, I should learn how to read. I take back my previous comment.
Bonanza gold grade is more than an oz per tonne. This is far from that. Also in grab samples you quite often have nugget effect, i.e. the grade is skewed to to higher grades.
Nonetheless it is encouraging. Just wondering where they will get the money to drill this off. In general I would like the exploration drilling to restart.
You mean Latin America I assume. If you quote your source correctly.
Terry, any good PFS would contain a metal price sensitivity table/chart. I do agree that 1400$ would be low to use as the price of gold.
Fortissimo, let's hope so. I am still sceptical it will attract more interest. Irrespective of that a below 20% IRR on such an investment with all the inherent risk is not really exciting for any party. Hopefully Solgold can show it can be improved upon. Even if it is just to calm us private investors down.
Fortissimo, I would think interested parties do their own homework irrespective if the investment is 1 or 3 billion. Both are a large sum and justify proper analysis.
I assume all in the data room have access to the mineral resource and can make their own mine design. Big or small.
So imho PFS3 won't all of a sudden open the eyes of interested parties.
Terry, I think we can forget about Barrick for a while: https://www.miningweekly.com/article/barrick-replaces-140-of-gold-with-no-need-for-dilutionary-or-dilusionary-acquisitions-2024-02-14
PFS3 isn't going to change a thing either imho.
If you look at the numbers from the latest presentation:
2.8 MT of Copper @ 9000$/t gives 25.2 billion
7.6 MOz @ 2000$/oz gives 15.2 billion
Also currently the plan is focused on copper recovery as gold recovery is only 72% vs 89% for copper.
So a bit more of a copper play, but the gold is worth heaps as well.
I would also have thought that there would have been some action on our license blocks or Porvenir. Why no earn-in agreement on one or more of them? Or sell some to get some cash to start some exploration again. Is Solgold really waiting for the all or nothing deal?
PFS3 is not going to move the share price. This open ended strategical review is also just smoke and mirrors. I really hope something is going on in the background, but somehow I am sceptical about that too.
We are all eagerly awaiting PFS3, but will it really move the share price? I personally think it will not even if it shows improved economics. Happy to be proven wrong of course.
My rationale is that the PFS3 is just one of the many possible ways to mine Cascabel. Interested parties probably have made their on plans for Cascabel that could be completely different. PFS3 will create some news flow and some small investors might jump on board, but until some real news lands (financing, takeover, sale of assets, etc.) I believe PFS3 will not change the share price substantially.
Any thoughts?
Thanks RK1, would be nice to get the PFS3 shortly. But would be even nicer if there were even better reasons there is a close period after the AGM.
It is also interesting that there were no director buys after the AGM. Unless I missed something.
After the AGM there shouldn't be a blackout period. So why did nobody buy at 8p level, but did at 10.5p
In ground value can't be copied from one project to the next, but could give some indication what to expect.
Or benchmark if "only for full value" claims are justified :-)
Posted this link before, but this has some statistics about copper M&A deals for projects in different stages. 3-6c seems a reasonable assumption in our case.

SharketMare, let's hope MRE4 even has more CuEq :-)
Only looking at Alpala MRE3 you have 14 MT CuEq in the mineral resource.
1 ton = 2204 pounds of copper. Currently 3 billion shares outstanding.
Back of the envelope calculation gives about 8p for each cent paid per pound of copper in the ground. Historical M&A figures indicate 6c paid. So with current amount of share that would value Alpala at 48p per share. Throw in some of the regionals and this should go for 50+ p with current numbers of shares. Unfortunately there is a risk of further dilution.
You are special no matter what :-) But no, I didn't get any notification.
Kinda hoping there won't be an 2024 AGM
Nobody really knows. Some speculation on this board why and some got excited and started talking about buying a new Skoda instead of a second hand one :-)
How many shares do you need to have to be contacted directly by Solgold? Obviously I don't own enough.
I am with Rich3r. My average is just below 20p. Not adding anymore after I added some at 10.5p.
