"I have it on good authority, Warren owns about 40 million shares in his funds"

Most believe the username BDMinefinder is used by Warren Irwin.

I have the same question, but what I have found is:

- AGM was announced on Sedar on October 10th for an AGM on December 11th

- No RNS was ever issued for the AGM, which I understand is actually a requirement

- An AGM minimum notice period is 21 clear days.

- An AGM must be held within six months of the end of the accounting period (Accounting period ends 30th of June for Solgold).

Allowable reasons to delay an AGM for a company listed on the LSE generally involve extraordinary or exceptional circumstances that prevent a timely and orderly meeting. However, listed companies must continue to comply with their obligations under the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), including disclosing inside information, even a delay.

So did Solgold just forget to file an RNS? It would be amateurism, but I wouldn't be surprised.

NMM, with a block cave you do a lot of (tunnel) development up front. And requires a lot of capex and time. But once going it is cheap. With Sub-Level- Caving (SLC) there is much less up front development before you start producing ore. You probably don't start as deep with a SLC compared to a block cave either. Theoretically you can SLC to the surface as well. Meaning no Open Pit and less waste product -> smaller waste volumes and footprint. However, I understood some of the waste is needed for building infrastructure such as tailing dams. Downside with SLC is that it can be hard to control dilution resulting in lower grades going to the processing plant i.e. you will have to process more material for the same amount of metals compared to mining methods with lower dilution.

I am wondering the same at the moment. No expert on this. But if they need to close and buy 18M shares in the open market it could be interesting.

But they might have other tools to minimise their loses. If someone can explain, it would be appreciated.

Mine is 17p. If it comes back to those levels I am considering reducing my holding as it has been frustrating to hold over such a long period of time and don't get any returns.

I really thought there would already be an RNS about ExploreCo. I assume the proposed licensing fees have caused major delays on this.

But does de-listing from the TSX mean no MD&A requirements and less (or no) rules regarding releasing Technical Documents? I.e. will we get even less information and also less reliable information from the company?

I am more curious / worried about the text on slide 11 regarding TAM: "PFS underway by consultants with experience in Ecuador". Does that mean a separate PFS for TAM? I was hoping TAM would just be integrated into to the FS for Cascabel.

Imho there is no (big) re-rate until Solgold presents a clear timeline to production and regular updated towards the plant. Yes, Solgold might be bought along the way. But nothing substantial has happened in the last few years. And only starting to drill TAM now is proof of that.

It is a gamble to wait for a buyer of the project and if you don't move forward you (share price) go backwards.

We need a proper plan on how to move forward before this share takes off. Yesterday's RNS was actually concerning when they mentioned years of investigation towards open pit material. If we are years away from even concluding the DFS we are just going to drift despite the gold (and copper price).

Slide 72 is also interesting. Cascabel seems too big to fail for FNV.

Finally an ExploreCo coming. Wonder what took them so long. I would like to see some partners at some of the exploration locations to speed up things.

I bought some more shares a few weeks ago at 7.8p or so. I wanted to average down, but average is still 18p unfortunately.

I really hope something happens in the next year or two and I get my money out with some sort of decent profit.

Metooooo: The table with length of studies, investment decision, and construction time is interesting. I would assume in SolGold's case the time for investment decision will be short.
