Le Figaro Olivier Veran health minister 17.37 press conf live Interferons innovative treatment results of which will be available in a few weeks lefigaro.fr
Sounds good
Allez les bleus
Sure they were trialing a different interferon therapy someone will no doubt yea or nae this.
SNG with added ‘Je ne sais pas.’
I take it as a hefty positive reaffirms we are in the right direction of travel and turns up the interferon spotlight Sans doubt.
This is not a joke but remember family visiting a French pharmacy to discover they were fond of administering certain drugs the opposite to orally.
That would be novel and not infringe any parents pending who knows,
Quois not pas O level a long time ago
Patents wtflip
There was a trial with Extavia - an Interferon beta (already in use for MS) in powdered form that was going to be nebulised but it was suspended. Is it possible he's referring to something other than SNG001?
Yes.
It may be FP-1201-lyo ?
Also known as Traumakine. Made by Faron Pharmaceuticals, based in Finland.
It is a type of interferon Beta 1A but I think it's IV use. Certainly a hospital in Alsace has been a centre in previous Traumakine studies but I don't think it's made there from what I can find. Traumakine is marketed for ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome), which is the disease process that causes many of the fatalities in COVID.
All good as long as we have a lee saunse and a ruum full of minkeys to test it on
Linked with prof JL Cassanova Rockefeller Uni NY https://vimeo.com/413205642 mention in briefing
'We can give you interferons up your arse, up your arse. We can give you interferons up your arse, up your arse. We would let you breathe them deep in but SNG have a patent, we can give you interferons up your arse!'
PMJH where is the link to that document? What’s it off?
Thanks for the correction/clarification PMJH. Good news indeed then. SPRINTER=SG018
Did we know SNG001 was to be made in Alsace, ,or was he referring to one of the MABs?
Hi jetstream just watched that video you posted From BBC world news with Dr Casanova during that video it showed a lab at work I’m almost certain that’s Prof Tom Wilkinson working away
You sure pmjh. Looks like plasma trial. The translation...
(1) 3 exchange sessions of 1.5 times the plasma volume per 4% albumin on D1, D3, D5 in addition to the treatmentstandard including in particular dexamethasone.
(2) Standard treatment, including Dexamethasone
The reference to interferon for EPIC trial is ...... "Benefit of plasma exchanges in patients presenting anti-autoantibodiesType 1 interferon with severe COVID-19 -"
@sollod good spot that.
Could well be?
This could be significant if it is us, the French health minister isnt going to risk losing face by discussing something which isnt showing real potential.
I've had a look at the EU clinical trial register and can't see any trials for interferon in France. So I suspect it's SNG001 he's referring to.
And it’s not the French prime minister anyway ,
It’s the French HEALTH minister
There is also a trial going on in the Amiens Hospital
Cannot believe the French PM would hail our treatment especially after the vaccine debacle and Brexit .
