The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I topped up at 4.40p. We know the tech is going to be taken up slowly but I cannot imagine the polarisers not becoming standard equipment. Am I just dumb?
Amazing products. Highest price paid 81p, lowest 6.5p. Average = 21p.
Is it worth less than 81p now, with the Thermo fisher deal and all the approvals? Does anyone have a "back of the envelope "valuation?? Looking forward to taking a chunk in the placing. GLA
I can't really remember much it was just her tone I picked up on. It's not going to have explosive growth but its going to be big was the nub of it.
Mmm. That was a very confident woman.
Sorry to sound thick but why are there no numbers attached to the study results?
JG68 - I see what you mean! :-0
I love the brand and the company but can't help thinking that Adam Minto looks like a guy who used to/does a lot of coke! Hope I'm wrong.
What I don't get is that the PPV, the important bit is only 60% ie. only 10% higher than flipping a coin. I guess this is what the market is reacting to? So around 22k kidney transplants per year in US, 50% of which will have a rejection event. 10% of that 50% will be better treated over and above chance with this assay, so around 1100. Is that correct? Still worth getting it right for those people.
"Blind" study meaning that if you know nothing else about the patient - which obviously would never happen as there is the clinical picture too. Does anyone know the competition figure for comparison? I would maybe like to buy more on this dip.
General early stage market sell off? I notice EKF down too.
Nope. Haven't said a word. I have Covid right now which is perhaps a helpful distraction. If he asks I'll tell him. I was overexposed, his exposure was less. The trouble is that the rest of our portfolios are performing terribly too. I have no one to blame but myself. Maybe it'll come good in the end...?
Thanks for the link Oakey1. Does anyone know when results are expected on neo-adjuvant trial? Just lost a fair bit (for me) on SNG so trying not to throw good money after bad. Does anyone know the history of MRx0518 & Keytruda combination on any comparison with Keytruda alone. From what I've read the patients in the study were at the end of the road treatment wise but hadn't had received treatment with Keytruda before. Is that correct.
Sorry to sound dumb but am looking at adding and trying to remind myself of why I invested in the first place. The MRx0518 trials are all using MRx0518 as an adjuvant, is that correct? Just re-read the findings from the Keytruda trial. How do we know that MRx0518 has added anything to Keytruda? Unless I am mistaken the participants were not on Keytruda before the addition of MRx0518 and it wasn't a randomised control trial. The pancreatic C trial similar. Just trying to find evidence of efficacy as a standalone treatment before committing more pennies. :-)
Any thoughts on the webinar today? No real revenue until 2023 but a total addressable market of £5B. Fundraise soon. Progress good. I must admit I hadn't realised that they don't need regulatory approval to launch.
They do seem like a very professional team. Have added to my position but still 20% under. Seems foolhardy to add more as they still need accreditation and none of the recent RNSs make accreditation any more likely. Got fingers burnt with POLX. I know this isn't FDA but there's still a risk.
Apologies if this has been discussed before but does anyone think there will need to be some sort of fund raising following successful P3? Just read the Finncap note from 06/01 saying that they had net cash of £15M at end Dec 21 and cash used in operations (2020 24.7M ; 2021 63.5M). I understand that a lot of the cash used in operations in 20/21 was for the clinical trials but is the 15M enough to commence manufacturing? I'm not sure if RM has commented on the need for further fund raising.
Free shares?
Yes - still here! Thanks
How does the Special Dividend work? We currently own 100% of Guident . If they have an IPO what will we get back? Can our dividend get swallowed up by huge fees? Apologies, I have no idea how this process works!
Thanks for posting. Does it look like they'll need to raise more cash before pipeline brings in extra income?
