I've held this share since October. I'm wondering if we're years off real movement? I'm forever reading about the microbiome in things like Medical News today/BMJ etc. It's an exciting field to be investing in but are we at the very start? If so can we imagine there will be a few fund raises along the way before the business can really take off? What are other people' expectations?

That would be good. I bought in here because of peanut allergy in my family. I Thought the murine model data was very promising, then everything else on top of it + cash in the bank. Immunobon v interesting too. There are millions of people who would love to address the cause of their problems - a poor immune system, rather than take anti histamines. I bought in at the wrong time - August - but have been wondering why the market has overlooked this potential gem. Perhaps they have woken up?

Agreed Tommy that it's a different proposition but is it that different? French ministers sounded bullish (with good reason I would think). Extavia is made by Novartis, not exactly newbies. Am pretty sure they sussed that it could be nebulised effectively before the trial started. Am just imagining what happens if they get decent results in a few weeks before us? What's the market going to think? That we're super different because there's no mannitol or albumin? Or that now we have Extavia and who needs another inhaled interferon. I am not deramping! I was genuinely concerned yesterday when I realised how far Extavia had gone.

Correction Extavia is Interferon beta 1b. SNG001 is Interferon beta 1a. But Extavia is being nebulised. If you look it up on BNF it's a powder. It's being mixed with water for inhalation.

Is anyone concerned about the possibility that Extavia will get there first? I must admit I hadn't realised there was a nebulised trial going ahead. I thought it was suspended. It's exactly the same drug, just a different formulation.

There was a trial with Extavia - an Interferon beta (already in use for MS) in powdered form that was going to be nebulised but it was suspended. Is it possible he's referring to something other than SNG001?

hold4results. Ah missed that one. I think because it didn't say Synairgen PLC. But I still don't truly understand what a patentfor use means as opposed to patenting an actual formula and I don't understand what happens if the Covid patent isn't issued by the time we're ready to go re orders.

These are the current patents according to what I've found. For Rhinovirus. I just wonder how we stand if at the point of commercialisation we don't have a patent? Extavia already exists and is a powder formulation but not designed specifically with nebulisation in mind. As I understand it you can't just nebulise anything, but still....I am wondering about our moat.

Beforegolf! Sorry that's what I meant. SNG filed two patents for use with Covid in July and COPD in September. I'm just wondering what kind of "moat" we have? The question keeps niggling at me. If we get great P3 and EUA but have no patent for use, does that mean anyone can copy the formulation and offer it cheaper?
