So compelling JD that Rathlin have, to date, failed to find funding.
Seems that someone agrees with you J.D as they are buying big time in five million blocks.
Henry0001,
This will not surprise me at all.
WN has been given an AA eco rating, in what essentially is part of the North Sea on land in the Humber.
Surrounded by infrastructure screaming out for clean gas.
Existing licenses unaffected by the election.
Not burning oil
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cxwwzmn12g9o
Large companies move out of off shore fields.
Directors recent share purchases £150k
A formal offer could land at any time, as there is no post lock in period for Director purchases.
And CS is also a gas project. Hmmm……
Compelling reason for a large entity to have a go at RBD
Jack
IF a major is interested in WN. It would be good business sense to sell the RBD shares they possibly hold. The pattern of RBD share prices dropping so soon after the release of encouraging news suggests that - moves are afoot.

I can strongly recommend Viz a far more factual magazine than drill or drop.
JD I know she's a tree hugger however the article in this instance is just a statement of fact.
Itsawrap,
excellent article?
It seems not !
Obviously with her environmental credentials and history writing for Ideal Home magazine, these type of articles are bias to the extreme and are not from an industry specific expert.
I prefer The Sun, for clarity of journalism!

Analysis by DrillOrDrop reveals that the West Newton oil and gas field in East Yorkshire has seen more than 15 years of delays, missed deadlines and changing plans - excellent article

Persi, there were no buy-backs in Feb or Mar, the Feb declaration relates to shares bought in December and the March declaration relates to shares bought in January. Finals confirm buy-backs to date of 280m
It’s going under, the game is up.
A lot rests on CS and that has gone really quiet.
Some believe that major players are buying but I say not. and the reasons are..
There is no tripping of percentages holdings TRS by major investors.
The buyers are RBD maxing out the share buy-back which ends next Friday at the AGM where the company is asking via a resolution to start all over again for the next 12months.
It's very noticeable that there is not shown on either the Companies own website or via an RNS more buying since January 2024 even though there was buy-backs in February and March (see Companies house for details). Why is it not up elsewhere, not everyone goes on Company House and nor should they.
Apart from the directors pittance buys with our money the buys are I believe RBD buying into treasury.

Maybe Rathlin have sold out to a big player? 🤔
Massive amount of buying and our two cretins don't have that much. I had written off what is left of mine here ages ago so will just wait and see/

Daybreak Oil and Gas, Inc. (the “Company”) is unable to file, without unreasonable effort and expense, its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the
fiscal year ended February 29, 2024 (the “Form 10-K”) because it needs additional time to complete its final review of its financial statements and other
disclosures in the Form 10-K. The Company currently is striving to file the Form 10-K for the fiscal period ended February 29, 2024 within the fifteen-day extension period provided under Rule 12b-25 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
RBD accounts need examining as to their involvement in this company.

So you ready for your new Ferrari Jack Diamonds?

If the 🤡 🤡 are buying at all time lows then maybe their plan to crash the SP is finally complete and there may actually be some light at the end of the tunnel, but blowing £40million of shareholder's funds and crashing the SP by 98% was a very risky and cavalier way to run a company. As for bonuses and discounted share options for total failure, then that's just a scam of huge proportion. JMO Adyor!!!

In fact I would think they're trying to make it look as tho' things are moving ahead of the AGM, nothing more, just a pr stunt & very misleading imo.
Couldn't agree more GP.
Hello Hydras. In my opinion Neither Rathlin nor Reabold has yet had a serious nibble for WN from a from a "big fish". Yesterday's RNS from RBD was just more can kicking from our two hopeless CEOs. it's also telling that UJO merely drew attention to Reabold's RNS without any positive comment and also that Rathlin have said nothing new on their website since September '23.
Looks like WN has had a nibble from a big fish, which is about to go ahead. WN is in the right area for Centrica and close to Salt End Chemicals Park where a massive CCS development has government backing. One to watch!!
Trading under cash in bank with multiple assets. Newsflow should come thick and fast now as they focus on development and monitisation of their assets

Unfortunately nothing can happen for at least a month due to insider dealing rules one assumes?
It's going to have to be massive.
I'm still 75% under water on this one.
Big news coming ⚠️
Oh dear, people are going to get their fingers burnt here very shortly.
Big big upside from these levels. Now there is no seller overhang we could be in play.
Not the one you have suddenly crawled out from...
So what stone did you crawl out from under moniman?
A bunch of rampers have crawled out of the woodwork looking for a 10% gain it seems? 🤔
Just had a wee nibble 🧀
So they have bought shares with the sp on the floor, does that show confidence in the company or knowledge of an imminent buy-back after the AGM?

I find the wording of the RNS to be ridiculous. How did the Nomad allow it to be released in its current form ? Is there anyone out there who can shed some light ?
I notice UJO has just referred it's holders to the RBD rns, smells fishy to me.
Odins, I think the costs put forward by CNG services will be correct because that company is staffed mostly by ex national grid gas staff who actually know what they are doing. Frankly I wish CNG services were running rbd.
Our dear departed friends Robert and Bernie would be proud of the two 🤡 🤡. And I thought Pyramid schemes had be banned years ago? 😳🙄
Odins, my guess is at least 5 years before we can even dream about any return. I've seen these types of crooks still at this type of game 10-12 years after holding out the golden carrot , whilst reaping in massive rewards for themselves with the cost borne by their long suffering shareholders. At least it gives Simon64 (alias deemule) more time to average down lol.
What I understand from my investment in ANGS is that the pipeline to connect to the grid is far from plain sailing. It takes considerably longer and costs a lot more than you may think to run a welded pipe that kind of distance and to national grid specification.
Couple that with the cost and scarcity of compressors, separators, controls and other associated kit and we are already looking at two years to get it all delivered to site, assembled, commissioned and ready to run.
I hope they have got their order in already.
Something else that jumps out, is the fact they are looking to use the income from the first well to fund further wells.
All very sensible, but there will be nothing left over for profit for probably another couple of years after the (hopefully) successful sidetrack or horizontal.
Therefore, it could be three to four years before the long suffering shareholder sees any kind of return. That is of course assuming that all goes as planned.
Thought the S.P would have risen more on this excellent news, but noticed we have a buy order to fill before we can move ahead. G.L.A
No updates on Rathlin website
Yep, they've deliberately as vague as possible with that RNS.
What else should we expect from a pair of shameless lieing crooks.
Having read the RNS more carefully, my conclusion is that they JV is NOT fully funded for "...the associated project infrastructure, estimated at ca. £12m" which it appears to infer.
It says "The JV is fully funded for re-entry and recompletion and operational activity is anticipated to commence during 2024." and "The JV partnership for PEDL 183 is likely to approve a forward plan, which will initially consist of the re-entry and recompletion of an existing West Newton well in order to establish sustained gas flow."
- my conclusion is it's fully funded to achieve gas flow and that's all at the moment, I'm guessing they are gambling on being able to raise the £12m once they can prove gas-flow, smoke & mirrors? you decide
I was hoping for a reasonable day but the market is singularly unimpressed.
To my mind there is far too little info in the RNS I.e. how did Rathlin get the funding & on what terms, have we suffered dilution.? We really need more info. Something there has always been a dearth of here.
The JV is fully funded for re-entry and recompletion and operational activity is anticipated to commence during 2024. Further updates will be provided in due course.
£2m each for RBD & UJO and £8m for Rathlin...any guesses?

That's the one!
Itsawrap, I think you mean lng facility - not lpg.
To tanker the gas they would need an on-site LPG facility. their plan hinges on permission for a 3.5K pipeline - something they have yet to apply for despite years and years of planning
Once again, a glimmer of good news tempered with their usual wreckage. Why on earth construct a pipeline for a single well when a tanker can do the job for free. Just more evidence of stupidity.
So some form of profit has to come from this CS folly, would love to know what is happening there!

Virtually every government dept run scams to a varying degree.
Just what is the point of proceeding at WN when Starmer and his crowd of incompetent bandits want to tax it meaning we have a private operator of a nationalised oil field via the back door.
It’s not going to save the planet is it, it’s just a con for government to make the profit instead.
It like trading in a car in the ULEZ zone and sending it to Ukraine, does the car suddenly get green credentials once it enters another territory?
Welcome to the new green scam.
If WN has a much gas reserves as the two 🤡 🤡 have stated then with all future UK Oil and Gas licences banned under the new Labour Government, surely WN must be gold dust now? 🤔
Itsawrap.....If I was a senior executive at NSTA I would be getting as many forward contracts signed asap to provide more security for all those who work there.
Persi it would depend on how quickly the wheels turn at the NSTA, if Rathlin's lucky, they will agree an extension before Labour are in power, plus of course it depends on how long ago Rathlin applied for an extension

Sorry I don't think so, I believe we had a chance to progress WN & failed miserably.
With regards to WN I think we have got into blinking contest with the government.
I think the government will be the first to blink!
Maybe Persimmon, thereby flushing more than 10mill down the toilet.
Excuses won't cut it anymore.
True Uggy , I feel on balance they will but, with the Political situation have any influence.? Perhaps the two clowns are hoping that it will not be agreed giving them the perfect excuse.
I originally thought the NSTA would nod through an extension. However without proof of available funding will they ? I'm not so sure now.

GP, I'm planning on attending & am determined to have my say.
I went last year when only 1 other shareholder turned up ! It would be nice if this year a few more disgruntled holders turned up
Last year the chairman closed the meeting in the blink of an eye. I managed to speak to the 2 crooks for about 10mins before they pleaded an important meeting & fooked off. They have no concept of treating their shareholders with respect. And the waffle I got from them is quite mind boggling.
Not fit for purpose.
It’s just the other 50% of the 2023 bonus which has already been paid in cash £51,575 each.
You have to remember that the salary element only increased by 5%, when inflation was running at 10.1%.
It’s all in the latest accounts you 🤡
Nothing to see here……again.

rock bottom closing price...anyone care to give me odds on a buy-back starting after the AGM???
Is this corporate theft? 😳
Nil cost options have been awarded today, including 36.839 million each for our two hapless CEOs. Will someone able to get to the AGM please try to prevent the chairman from prematurely shutting down any questions to the board. Thanks, GP
