None taken and I'll be patient with you.
Firstly stating 'the US is down 5.12%' on a board of any significance would have investors shorting the Dow and all kind of shenanigans. That's sloppy on it's own..
To be responsible, try 'The market - in DEC in the US - is down 5.12% - against the previous NYSE closing price'.
ALL I was doing was trying to contextualise the US prices with the UK ones, so your 5.12% lost its sting i.e. the price variance between UK and US is factually less than 1%.
I hope that's cleared the mists for you
Typically sloppy answer -it's what the numbers say in the context of the US Listing:-
HOWEVER, it's at $12.14 which even at $1.29:£1 - (mid rate just now @ 18;50hrs UK is 1.2727) is £9.41. That's not 5.12 % off any English price - it's 5 pence down.
Throughout all of this debacle it's become clear that the shorters - looking at the complex (yet highly successful) operating methodology of DEC, realise they can spook less experienced investors that basically don't get how DEC works, into panic selling.
They're effectively leveraging fear and ignorance rather than actual facts of the case.
To me the only really concerning event IN REALITY was/is William's resignation from the VP/CFO position.
But isn't that also easy to see through? IMO Williams resigned because he was passed over for the president promotion in favour of Hunt, who has seamlessly taken on Williams's job as well. Same day resignations always smell of hissy fits/ bruised egos.
If I had an extra £10k I'd bang it into DEC shares today - 'If you can keep your head while all around are losing theirs' sort of thing, 'cos opportunities like this don't present very often at all.
17,200,000 vote to keep current incompetents, sorry - incumbents. Just think the new lot are worse, if one can conceive of that in comparison to S & S
I wasn't but I am now. Simply because of this: IF the CPR was going to be good, and they've a better chance of knowing this that any of us, why not wait til after the CPR's released and the share price has appreciated to do this acquisition.
I.e. the fact they've done it this way round surely suggests S&S don't see their SP rocketing anytime soon?
Nah. Satin's rather dull, I reckon silk takes it all.
IN OTHER NEWS: I wonder if our boys are busy talking to American banks about Russian debt and such like? Just putting that out there...
What the rather old article says is 'banned...and Russian companies also banned from paying dividends to overseas investors'. EVR is NOT a Russian company, (albeit its coal subsidiary is) so the article's not of significant relevance.
Oh gawd - happy pants is back...
Jeepeers - does that mean Persimmon for another 2 years!! Gawd help us...
I think that's the point - they KNOW value will out as they reach the promised land - reasonably around $500million I suspect but it's the walk which unsettles our more skittish investors - I'm thinking at least 24 months before we get there, foot sores and boots worn out...
Just 'upticked' a Persimmon post. Something I never thought possible. Need to lie down in a darkened room and wonder what illness has befallen me...
Gosh that felt good! Flatearther filtered. Complete numbnuts with very clear agenda and absolutely crap grammar...
Pboo. It's dated the 12th July - so something's different. Nit.
Or, put another way,
The final reward for Corallion is ALSO 'yet to arrive' and it will a very much bigger one Persi old chum.
Persi, you are an arse! Honest to heavens man - I think it's you that's had the large ones: Don't drink and post. Up til now I'd imagined you as a Sam Eagle type - drawstrings on every orifice etc etc, but this late night bombshelling tactic signals the crumbling collapse of our very own destructive, self-obsessed clinically depressed armchair critic who we all rather like on the quiet. And after a day when the SP is actually trending up!!
You are wrong. The Corallian deal is clever, big and typically shrewd financial engineering, whereby the two much maligned poor sods running this company paid a small amount (relatively) for a multiple in reward. And this 474:1 twattering is irrelevant, it's the multiple of reward that counts ffs.
It said 6 WEEKS. Not 1 week. We need to wait.
Persimoanious, all I did was correct the maths. In fairness though, didn't remember about the 50:50 split so thanks - although water-marked with your usual negativity, at least it's a fact this time
$151,085 = £<107,000
Miker 444 : RNS 'fullbredtwatnownotlater' just likes to read his own posts and congratulate himself on achieving such dizzy heights of twatishness so please discount or block him. You were perfectly clear from the off, explained you were not inferring that was a sale value THREE TIMES. and now he's full blown correcting you for something you didn't say...just bonkers. Anyway, crack on - appreciate the fairness of your posts!
Completely agree missthepenny62 - I'm just shy of 40 million but don't feel worried.
GLALTH!
