Towns, 20% is what Australian companies require to be notified by if someone builds up a stake that high. The speculation is that Schurter are lining CAP-XX for a controlling stake similar to what they did with Biaodi.

Putting it another way - how have Schurter been able to build a 20% holding without spiking the share price? If you or I had done that the MMs would have spiked it as we were buying.

Either way, isn't it very convenient for Schurter that there is no news for 6 months while they load up.

They are allowing Schurter to build up a controlling stake so no news until they've got what they want. My theory is that Cooley and/or Holliday are selling down to supply them so the share price doesn't shoot up.

I think the binder is 100% Cap-XX nothing to do with RGO or Ionic. The Ionic joint venture is null and void -it did not survive the liquidation.
