The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Laura's post has just been deleted - I wonder why??
Hi Laura, thanks for that. There is a tiny glimmer of hope then. Let's all keep fingers and toes crossed we will be saved.
I've been shell shocked since I woke up this morning, I've written my money off. I think I need to go to gambler's anonymous as I have lost a very large amount of money that I can't afford to lose. But at then end of the day I still have my health and good friends so just will have to dust myself down and carry on. Sorry for all shareholders, I really believed in this company and we've all been badly let down.
The bottom feeders looking for technical trading quick profits
Sharp practice is exactly what's at foot. Lars has been talking to a venture capitalist the last couple of months.
They are using it! It's used up already!!
This can't be happening.
I know how you feel. It's my biggest investment too and I'm sitting on an eye watering loss. I'm still peed off with the outcome of the court case. I think the company will turn around - it requires the patience of 12 saints! Selfishly I hope the sp stays around here until April and I will be adding more. It's all or nothing for me now.
Rusty an alternate scenario: 1) Mike Taylor announces to the board a couple months ago that he will retire, 2) Six weeks ago the company advertise for a new CFO (this was posted on linkedin at the time) 3) Today the company announce Mike's rwtirement to the market and that they have been successful recruiting his replacememt.
They've done well to get the new appointment in just a few week.
PS. Shock - Man in his 60s retires!
Earl of Pump has arrived, time to sell.
I missed this little snippet:
"...whilst royalties are still anticipated from AVX, we believe the cash and recognition of these will fall just after the period end. We now leave royalties as upside in our forecasts..."
And:
"Whilst we conservatively anticipate more modest growth in 2H FY24E and FY25E, we see upside to this growth through the sales pipeline analysis performed by Lars. We believe delivery on these expectations would lead to a significant rerating..."
So back dated royalties from AVX are still expected, but discounted, and when received will be upside to forecasts as well as upside to outperforming conservative growth estimates.
Yes not ideal but not too bad considering, so will be good to get it out the way and move forwards.
Tesla used 20 lawyers against CAP-XX! Apparently Tesla's lawyer's fees were even more than what they would have had to pay out if they lost. Also suggests the other case will be dropped by both sides in due course.
Sluggish growth predicted over the next few years. Lars has completed the pipeline analysis but has not shared this with anyone outside the company. Small placing of A0.5m will be required before the end of H2. However predicts significant return on investment. Share price forecast is under review.
The sooner the better, before we all pop our clogs....

Couple of nice buys. Will we see strength coming up to results...
The board were 'confident' that this would be settled in the current financial year.
Open, CAP-XX already has sales from H1 of A2.3m, plus the US$0.8 to date in H2 (= A1.2m). So to end of Feb 2024 the company is trading at A3.5m (in a traditionally slow part of the year). We still have 4 months to go for H2, which is historically stronger trading. So in my opinion (assuming the sales program continues to work) we are on track to deliver between A5m to A7m as forecast by Cavendish here. Also this note breaks down the other figures you are asking for:

CLCO are very tardy with results. By the end of March we'll already be waiting for a H1 update let alone results from last year!
If the forecast turnover between A5m and a7m for this year (and it looks from the RNS yesterday that this is on track) then the sp will not be long in correcting upwards. And of course we still impatiently await the pipeline analysis. Lars are you reading this? You said you'd have the pipeline done by the end of last year - what's the hold up?
Oh sorry, it's false alarm. It's withdrawal of one of their attorneys. That's a waste of $5! Still puzzling though.
Before this Court is CAP-XX Unopposed Motion for Withdrawal of Ryan Beard
as Counsel for CAP-XX. Having considered the matter, and that it is agreed, the Court
GRANTS the motion and permits Ryan Beard to withdraw as counsel of record for CAP-XX in this case.
UNOPPOSED MOTION to Withdraw by CAP-XX, Ltd.. (Attachments: # 1 Proposed Order)(Truelove, Jennifer) (Entered: 02/27/2024)
What does it mean?? I'll try to download the document to see if it says anymore.
