Amen to that - had to learn it the hard way, repeatedly!!

A 2.3m company with 23bn worth of oil in the ground. It doesn't get much more AIM than that!
Anyway, have averaged down, time will tell...

Dear all,
Given the shocking Tek SP and selling their BELL shares at all time lows to help fund Microsalt (Bell is one reason I'm invested here and was supposed to result in a special dividend for Tek holders within a couple of years), Cliff's salary and especially bonus HAVE to be called into question now more than ever.
There is no excuse anymore. He can defer it if necessary. Tek shouldn't be a lifestyle company. Come on Cliff we deserve better than this!

Where is the investigation into this? At least one person belongs in prison.
Beem holding here a LONG time and been buying all the way down and a long way down it has been!
I'd say that with the tech the company has, a relatively healthy cash balance, and a growing, strong sales pipeline, it's hard to see this going for any less than £5m, which is a quid per share.
However, I'd like to think it'll got for ten mil or more so at least I'll make some profit here finally!
DYOR, GLAH
Grateful for this. No need to panic by the sound of it. Might 'average down' after all, would be nice to finally see a reverse in the trajectory of the SP!
DYOR
With an SP drop like this, on top of the endless decline, the company has no option but to issue an update.
Not going to continue being stuck in the trap of averaging down until I know what's going on. The company has potential and recent updates have been positive but enough is enough as far as the share price is concerned.

Commercialisation gaining traction here. What they have is a worth a fortune, just a case of getting it out there now.
New contract win but the co still having to work hard to overcome the consequences of the mismanagement (to the point of swindling) by GB.
Had a significant holding here, not worth much now! But Modern Water does seem to have genuinely huge potential, so will 'average down' and see what happens.
GLAH
GB should be interviewed by police. Just glad they gave him the boot when they did and the co is turning things around. Believed his own nonsense, the guy belongs in crypto.
Ten grand down the toilet. Held these for six years. Was stupid back then obviously. Loss aversion stopped me taking a hit earlier and now that ten grand is worth less than a hundred quid. The money was hard earned.
This BoD has blood on their hands.

Been holding here for years. Considering where we were not that long ago, this set of results is the stuff of dreams!
Have a considerable holding at 6p, so am hopeful of seeing a return to 5p plus over the next 2-3 years...

My 12k investment almost worthless now, so not sure how much difference it makes, but can Mode be saved?
Either someone turns up with funds for a crypto related investment and Mode keeps going, or someone takes it over as a shell, or... it dies a death like my 41k in motif bio did.
Rowlands, Rita, etc all have a lot to answer for. How did it come to this? They went from super rampy to bust in the space of just a few weeks.
Beware anything crypto related, they believe their own bs and try to suck you in.
Sorry fellow holders...
With us being unable to buy or sell, the share is effectively at the whim of the MMs, so they thought a 60% drop would be in order. Would love to meet an MM someday - might give them a medieval interrogation to find out what really goes on...
Anyway, it's still some achievement by the new BoD getting this back to trading. With recent setbacks in old dogs Midatch and Mode, this is a welcome shot in the arm!

Why did shareholders vote for this?
Sounds ruthless, but probably needs to be. Perhaps says a lot about how the company was being run beforehand.
Their tech really does appear to give them an edge, huge potential here but definitely requires patience as the timeframes involved are quite lengthy. Bottom draw for all the right reasons.

Thing with Avacta's 'precision' is the drug involved is already approved. Precision is the delivery system, and they've just confirmed they can use it to put double the drug (doxirubicin) into tumors without the usual toxic side effects of chemo. It's massive. Billions have been paid by big pharma for less. Plus the company has a few other notable strings to their bow.
Worth a bit of DYOR IMO, the only people trying to belittle the RNS are jealous or want in lower. Surely it's sthhg for humanity to celebrate whether you're in or out anyway!
He might just be excited about the content of the latest RNS. Let's face it, the potential here now is very, very, very exciting indeed!
