Smashing ne highs again atome something happening there I'm sure, news mayb next week, well done all people who held there shares, ppc should edge higher reflecting price action on atome
Wow, everyone wants in on ATOM, in case its the next big thing!!
And we lucky PPC shareholders got ours for free.
Am I correct in assuming that PPC is now valued at approx £20m if you take out the value of its 28% stake in Atom?
So possibly by the end of today PPC taking out the value of atome may be trading sub 1 pence!
A poster on ADVFN has stated they sold a holding of 3m in chunks of mostly 250k.
Have a look at the other thread - all is explained there for today's dump.
Who's dumping this 250000 lumps been going on 4 long time depressing share price
FYI could be a positive I'm not sure.

Shares in Atome Energy have soared 24.4 per cent powered by the ongoing fertiliser crisis, which has been exacerbated through rising after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The FTSE AIM company is the only pure-play green hydrogen and green ammonia producer listed on the London Stock Exchange, and is currently trading at an all time high of 135.5 pence per share.
As part of Europe’s energy and food security strategy, green ammonia is considered a viable option to transition away from the dependence on Russian gas.
The appeal of renewable alternatives has also risen with households facing a £271 hike in annual food bills, according to research group Kantar
Agree il try remain positive, need clear sellers or seller who been around 4 long time
Steven- you're not wrong, but as investors in PPC we have to take every opportunity to be positive...... (as there is generally not enough blue days)
Only up 7% ppc and there at near on 52 week lows
PPC are 12th on the Risers board today, with ATOM in 3rd place. How nice is that?
Great Shout.... Russell Sprout
Indeed, Kevin Carrot might well be jealous of such a fine shout..
Looks like buyers coming back seeing disconnection with market cap and atome value now much more, need clear sellers out bring new money in
I wasn't expecting my words to have such an immediate impact.
Onwards and upwards, haha.
Peter Levine, MA (Oxon), founded the former FTSE 250 Imperial Energy Corporation PLC and was its Executive Chairman and largest individual shareholder until it’s $2.4 billion sale in January 2009. Peter is the sole beneficial owner of PLLG Investments, his family investment fund, which is a 29.38% owner of President. Peter is an Honorary Fellow of his alma mater Trinity College, Oxford University, and was previously the Chairman of the then FTSE 250 Severfield-Rowen Plc and Keltbray Plc.
Great appointments atome high profile people with abundance of knowledge contacts, always look at the people who run the business,
Our sp is beginning to stir from its slumber - imv we should be up 10% this last week .
may be our saviour. SP flying and we hold 28%.
Nothing seems to be reflected in the PPC share price - hopefully before long the market will catch on.
Bargain prices for the believers.
AIMO.
Deepthinker
Not sure your post is entirely accurate. Pretty sure he was the Chairman of Severfield when it went up 10 fold.
Imperial was not one licky dip of the drill bit, it was a sequence of drills and exploration expansion over 5 years.
I was lucky to have invested in both at the time and is the reason I am in here. Granted, this has been a tougher nut to crack. It has however led me to Atome which is not a company that would typically have been on my radar but already my dividend shares are close to 40% up and im on a tidy gain with my PrimaryBid.
As someone mentioned on ADVFN, Atome was a PL idea and initially started through his innovation fund. It didnt need to go through President.
grsshaw hits the nail on the head, Musri has been introduced to improve the production side and his credentials look second to none. More importantly these people who operate at high levels in Schlumberger/PC are usually well connected.
Given everything is being thrown at improving the price (Farm out / Atome / Drilling and workovers etc) I would expect President to end up private if the price doesnt improve.
President share in Atome is now worth around £10m - £3m more than on listing and the price has dropped, its nuts.
Any1 who kept there shares in atome spin off been rewarded well, not all gloom
From the look of his profile Daniel Musri should be exactly what the Argentine PPC needs. A review of all operations and then maximising returns is not something that happens overnight though. He was appointed on 1st March, so we probably need to give him this year and 2023 to see if he can make a difference
Deepthinker - he has sort of made a few changes at the top!
Daniel, who joins us from Vista Oil and Gas, the Mexico/Argentina public oil and gas company, is a reservoir engineer by training and, prior to Vista, worked for 10 years as Vice President for Schlumberger in their Production Management arm, and before that for 18 years at the large Argentine oil and gas company Perez Companc, rising from junior reservoir engineer to asset manager. Daniel has been tasked with reviewing all operations within President's Argentinian business with a view to improving the returns from these operations and ensuring targets that are set are met with the appropriate accountability for results.
grsshaw.....What should be remembered in relation to SP is that PL, though he got lucky once in Russia with an oil strike is not, nor has he ever been an oilman. By trade and education he is a lawyer. This is reflected in the long suffering SP. If I could ask PL to do one thing it would be for him to search for a smart oilman to run the company. Just the name and reputation of such a person alone may increase the SP. imho
