Ecclescake This of course is your opinion, my take on this is we have already been penalised for the delays to Paraguay but it will happen just that we now have to wait till Q4 . You say what is plan B , well we have WATER FLOODING PROJECT RIO NEGRO, MARTINEZ DEL TINEO EXPLORATION, ARGENTINA, ATOM (28%). Plenty going on here and with buoyant hydrocarbons pricing how are we still at only £35 million MC. Lets not forget the Corporate Bond with interest rate 1.24 per cent p.a. very good move to help pay for the recent well's and also production sales at near international levels . It all adds up IMO.
If the paraquay drill turns out uncomercial it will reflect negatively on the sp justified or not. The cost maybe covered, but success will be transformative so with that upside failure will have a down side the market is not going to shrug it of as no cost. PPC have spent millions on Paraguay surveys, 2 drills I can't check back at the moment but I think that's cost over $30m and because Argentina hasn't supplied the funds shareholders have over several fund raises. Without a plan b the question will be what will the cost be going forward and that will reflect in the sp.
there's very little info on the first page and cannot access any info on the Contact page either - just seems a bit odd - no Twitter feed as far as I can see either.

Ecclescake Let us remember that Paraguay drill is a free carry for PPC Why on a duster would we see it " hurt the sp" when we have no value credited on our SP now.
Yes we will start to see winter pricing for our oil and gas sales, thank goodness for Louisiana .
Ppc r in right sector, with markets falling oil gas renewable energy r holding up with both oil gas staying high, and green energy being heavily invested in.
It's because the holding company is seen as performing badly or high risk, PPC is a mild mix of both, assets in Argentina don't appear to be giving the returns that they should and a high risk drill, already delayed, due in Paraguay H2. If either those change, full price for Argentina oil and gas or success in Paraguay we're on a winner or if Paraguay is a duster it's going to hurt the sp. I'm hoping we achieve higher argentina oil and gas prices because world events and winter is approaching. A positive is a good management team which why its survived this far.
Not saying it would happen here but its why companies get brought and broken up as the sum of parts is higher than the whole
In November 2021 before ATOM, PPC shares were c1.85. We now have 28% of ATOM worth 12.3m and our share price is languishing at 1.72.
It doesn't make sense to me. Ignoring the free shares given to shareholders, is this now a cheap way of buying into ATOM and wait for the market to wake up?
Shoot me down if you wish but I can't work it out.

Even better than three, it's four new wells that should all be online by end of May. Salta DP2001 & DP2003 and Puesto Guardian PG13-1 and PE-8.
Not year end may end GLA
Hopefully these 3 wells will be in production b4 year end, louisiana with oil prices still high making good contribution too cash, ppc is in far better shape now than has ever been and am confident in time will be reflected in share price,
Really good RNS from Atome today. Maybe President could borrow their Press Officer for PPC's next RNS?
From the Atome RNS, "The objectives and actions of ATOME are totally aligned with Paraguay's commitments on decarbonisation which ATOME fully supports in the mission to make Paraguay one of the world leaders in diversification from hydrocarbon reliant economies and protect the environment for future generations."
Meanwhile President's hope of a similar SP take-off seem to lie in finding commercial oil in Paraguay. Almost like PPC and ATOM are the angel & the devil stood on the shoulders of Paraguay trying to take it in different directions. 1st round- ATOM.....
Yes some good news out on ATOME Paraguay, great sector be in, hopefully see some of this feed through to ppc
Atome MCap now larger than PPC?
NicetoMichu- President have already issued RNS confirming all four wells are commercial and will be fully online in May. Even if all four flows rates are disappointing, it's still four new wells adding to Production. As far as PPC goes, this does count as as a success story!!
what makes you think this is such a good news story DRichi.. if it was they'd have been shouting about it :-)
Four new wells should come online fully this month. Salta DP2001/2003 - both of these were targeting 250BOPD. PG13-1 is oil, and PE-8 was a workover which should bring both oil and gas into production.
So that's four new wells producing oil in Argentina. Looking forward to a confirmation RNS telling us these four wells are working well, and please can it also tell us the Production numbers. If this is such a good news story, then c'mon PPC shout about it
Echo Energy PLC interesting news RNS out on gas contracts argentina, bodes well 4 ppc
and the price moving up a little. The sp though needs to move up a lot to where a number of people say it should be. Let's hope we start to see some further good news that impacts the sp.

With the Government putting pressure on the big oilies'......
How about Shell or BP taking out Atome and President for the green wash/non-Russian power source thus responding to the Government pressure not to use their massive profits to give shareholders a big payday, then spin off/sell the Argentinian assets.
Must be a possibility?
May explain the sudden jump in Atome's SP
Haha.
I have a sneaky feeling that City are going to bottle it - could do with another tough game against the Real Madrid next week to drain them a bit. Whatever happens, its been a fantastic season for the reds.
We could do with some of that winning mentality in PPC.
Onwards and upwards.
Way to go Russell !!!.. I'm a huge Pool fan myself .. and it has been extraordinary so far....the hard bit is now upon us though...but i'd absolutely love it if your quadruple bet comes in ( Blo+dy Man City are a mare though )
A very good idea for you and Mrs Sprout to get away at Christmas, whatever, I feel.... a dangerous time for you guys no doubt.. somewhere very remote I'd suggest !! Although Brussels would suit you guys down to the ground I'd expect.
I can tell you, NicetoMichu, that I am in for the journey with ATOM so won't be selling up any time soon.
I see buying more PPC as a cheap way of holding ATOM, so if this sp holds at these levels I will look to top up. I bought in here two years ago, and they have not moved an inch in that time, even taking the ATOM divi into account - but I think this could be our year.
AIMO DYOR
He who dares wins.
YNWA - come on Liverpool, I have £20 on the quadruple at 150/1. I have promised to take Mrs Sprout away at Xmas if I collect.
Some new posts on the Twitter feed.
in fairness, Atome is giving long suffering ppc participants who kept their free atome shares some compenstaion for the misery here.. nice to see..
(I've missed out on that but that's what I deserve for the way I play - range trade - ppc .. but Russel Sprout has clearly not missed out.. good for him.. and maybe he even gets to take Briana Banana out to a fun event with the proceeds !)
