Not sure markets will put too much value on atome, still early stage company and share price very volitile
Brasso so you like to be accurate do you, what value have you put on the interest in ATOM in your share price..
Darien I agree with your analysis except that this years revenue will be 8% higher [ as per RNS] so I make after tax profit around £16m.
Drichi
A market cap of $100m (£80m) would be a share price of 3.8p. Sorry to be a killjoy but I like to be accurate!
£80m / 2,058,000,000 = 3.8p
so market cap of £35 mill. of which £9.5 million is Atom so nett PPC market cap of £25.5 mill, these numbers suggest earning for the full year AFTER TAX of $4.5 x 4 of $18 mill or £14.75 mill.. that's a PE of 1.78 WITHOUT Salta which will produce $5 mill per year of revenue... the share price is a joke. a conservative PE would be 5 or 3 times current share price is about 6p
Yes mean at least 50, I really believe this will rerate in time, argentina has always held it back due too risk and pricing of gas oil in this country.
I have bought another £5k this morning in expectation.....
Ten years ago when PPC was running at a loss in had a marketcap of $66M (IIRC). Now it's made a $4.5M profit in Argentina in Q1 and forecasting $40M for the year, plus Louisiana plus whatever their 28% stake in ATOM is valued at. Market cap should be at least $100M I reckon which = 8p a share. So hey even a $50M market cap would male the SP 4p (which is a very low valuation by most multiples of EBITDA)
Onwards & upwards from here (hopefully....)
Steven the profit after tax this year [ projecting from todays rns] is by my calcs £16m gbp and the mcap could easily be £100m , even without the benefit of atome as I see it.
Should have market cap 50 million plus, will move up at sometime, patience, right sector, oil gas green energy,
Argentine production figures to be released Quarterly!!!!! Wow!!!! Brilliant! Not having publishing these figures has been a bugbear of this chatroom for years now. That's great news that PPC will finally be doing this
Unloved share. Argentina coming into its own , Louisiana contributing again, ATOME holding, and Paraquay play . Profit making company.
I will continue to accumulate and wait for the market to wake up.
Crazy.
Re Rate has begun - may get close to 2p today imv.
P/e for coming year looks to be around 2 by my calcs following todays RNS - ridiculously cheap. re rate a given imv.
Nearly everything got smashed today, just glad held my cash, still hold here, atome took big fall,
Well we certainly need to get the sp heading up the league table rather than languishing in its current lowly state!
Atb,
Northern
Northern, you would have thought that in the current climate that this is a cert in terms of a project FID, and if PPC would be prepared to go it alone if nobody comes forward.
Interesting times, the global energy problem is not going away in the short to medium term, longer term it might be better if prospective projects make it to final production. As long as they don't ask Leeds United for help!!! LOL
Be rude not to take advantage of the price dip today!
Crazy times on the markets - traders and investors panicking!
Good luck!
Good morning
Yes a huge potential, tried before and failed let's hope that current requirement for gas and increased prices makes it attractive for someone
Fingers crossed, again as they have been for about 10yrs
and noticed the section on the Martinez Del Tineo prospect and the 2.8 Tcf of gas mentioned - a huge amount of gas to aim for if they can find a Farm out partner.
Atb,
Northern
Have taken another 500k today :-)
Should c good returns on purchases at this level over time, unless oil gas prices massively decline,
Second purchase this morning for 500,000 shares - as I have said previously anything under 1.7p is very good value.
Good luck!
Market cap not include Paraguay drill as of yet, just one off drill that's unlikely too be commercially viable, only reason there going with drill is no real cost too them and wasted much money in pass on drilling Paraguay so may as well see it through,
Leeds look like could go down ppc there sponsors not sure there still sponsor if go down.
