The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
First of all I’m sticking with PL.
I hold my shares in an ISA with Barclays. It has been suggested by Barclays that I wait until they are delisted and then Barclays will transfer the shares to an ordinary investment account. I did wonder if I would have to sell my ISA shares and buy them back into the investment account but that would have cost me with the large spread.
Next dilemma is JP Jenkins do not, apparently, like dealing with banks so I then need to transfer to another broker on JP Jenkins list such as Interactive II, Hargreaves Lansdown, or at the suggestion of JP Jenkins www.sharedealactive.co.uk.
I know there will be the usual naysayers but could some of the more sensible and seasoned traders comment if they think this process is the the most sensible approach or whether there is a better process to get the holding into the right place.

Dill
I don't normally like Malcys blog that much since it is mainly copy and paste, however, he does make some very good points regarding the announcement , which are quite detailed and sum it all up rather well. I suggest reading the article from yesterday. In his comments he suggests PL ''is taking one for the team''. I agree!
Dill
I remain invested because I trust Peter Levine.
I am from now on going to ignore the bulletin boards.
Why people who claim not to be invested here post comments, I don't understand, unless its fomo.
Why people who claim to be invested here but are vitriolic towards PL I also don't understand. If you don't like the man or the company then sell.
I have a reasonably substantial investment in President and Atome and look forward to the new strategy and future with confidence.

Ntm
A paragraph from the latest rns.
'GH will consider in each SPV the various monetization possibilities of the equivalent of farm out, joint venturing, venture capital / private equity funding or IPO'

Hi Steven49
You don't have to keep reminding is why you have sold. You've made your choice so there is no need to come back and justify it.
I hope NTM sells his last tranche too. When he announces that the price usually rises.
I'm still going to hold. Rich men don't like to lose money and I'm sure PL sits nicely in that category.
Good luck with your future investments.
Dill.
I'm pleased we didn't get an update today. A quiet week with two bank holidays would not be good timing.
I'd rather see an update when the markets are in full swing.

In November 2021 before ATOM, PPC shares were c1.85. We now have 28% of ATOM worth 12.3m and our share price is languishing at 1.72.
It doesn't make sense to me. Ignoring the free shares given to shareholders, is this now a cheap way of buying into ATOM and wait for the market to wake up?
Shoot me down if you wish but I can't work it out.
Dill
Am I correct in assuming that PPC is now valued at approx £20m if you take out the value of its 28% stake in Atom?
I think the only way we will see true value for this company is if and when PL sells it.
Dill
That was the email address I used but in the subject line put for the attention of Mr Peter Levine.

Owning a lot of PPC (for me) and about 60% down, feeling very despondent, I emailed Peter Levine who replied promptly. I was very encouraged by his response in which he didn't give anything of a sensitive nature away. I was tempted to sell at the time but his genuine and sincere reply changed my mind. I won't post his message because I told him I wouldn't post any response he made in my email to him.
For what it's worth I think he is on the case and finds the share price as baffling as we do.

comeonvog. I couldn't agree more with your comment. I don't know why people are so negative and insulting to PL. I think he is an honest man trying do do his best. Yes, he may be a rich man but wealthy men still don't like failing or losing money.
Here is to a better 2022 and the future.
Regards
Dill.
I also like the comment in the same RNS. 'We will continue to do what we can to generate further success this year in the energy field and transparently promote our successes. Where appropriate and possible, we will implement strategies to close the gap between the performance of the Company and the value given to it by the market'

Hi Northern
I'm not sure we are still on his bucket list. I don't care, however, I think we are under valued and due a re-rating very soon.
The business is way under valued at its present market cap.
I enjoy your posts and like your positive outlook. I hope we all enjoy success in our investment.
I'm not selling. I've had a lovely Atome bonus and just wait for the rest to follow on.
Happy New Year

You are so boring. So much negativity. You might need help.
Dill
It wouldn't surprise me if Trafigura didn't buy out PPC.
Thanks
its getting clearer but in context for every 100,000 PPC share I own how many Atome share would I get?
I don't quite understand it all. Sorry.
