I'm not a great lover of Malcys blog. However, I liked the last paragraph of his comment on PPC/ATOME recently though.

I would ignore anything that the Chronic Investor writes. They are, IMHO, just as worthless as T1ps, Motley Fool, Twit Minnifroth and all other tip sheets etc. ( allegedly)

There are some rather angry elves on his board at the moment. Chill. I'm happy with my holding. I think PL is a very astute business man. I've never met him but he is direct and tells it as it is . I've no worries about the potential of this company.

I’m in your camp. I don’t have a problem with PL. I think he is direct, honest and seems to be a decent bloke. I’ve never met him but his presentations seem straightforward. I’m prepared to be patient. It looks like directors and institutions own about 67% shares so surely some pi’s buying could move the price up.
I’m an optimist but work on the basis that rich people don’t like losing money and P L will do all he can to move the share upwards.
Let’s await more good news.

I reckon Rob Shepherd's average for his shares is now 6p. No Idea what Peter Levine's average share price is but they are both underwater at the moment. Something is afoot. A buy out at 10p? Any thoughts

DRichi. I agree we are cheap as chips at the moment. I wonder, however, what the general consensus of opinion is with regards to the value of PPC is at the moment to a potential buyer. I invested in this company purely on the basis of PL's financial commitment and track record. That may be considered stupid but the strategy has worked for me in the past , just not this time - at present.
Any thoughts, anybody?

Isn't PPC as much about gas rather than just oil? Gas prices haven't plunged so the drop is well overdone. Just topped up and now own almost as many shares as Rob Shepherd. This is an absolute bargain. One day Rodney!

With about 1.4 billion vehicles on the road daily worldwide I think oil will be needed for quite a while yet.

I wouldn't say despondent. It sounds like he has a raging cold. I'm happy enough with things.
