Q1 trading update on 29th July nerves? That's what recent confidence is based on. They should be good.
Something not right here. Its taking steep falls. I sense some bad news from within company being kept hidden, for now.
PFD of old? Hoping this is MMs having a good shake of the tree! Big falls!
Forgot to say, on Radio 4 but it will appear all over their other platforms
BBC Business report this morn about the vast increase of eating packet trifles, custard, cakes... at home.
Although I hold shares I'm only kindov into buy holding when it rises and then sell, I wanted to ask at what time does the company start to pay divided, when the share price is good, when the company start to makes a healthy profit, can it still pay dividend whilst in loss. Any guesses when PFD or if PFD will pay anything soon.
Separately how high does the share price go to drop back into FTSE 250....
Any help to understand would be appreciated.
most haven't K - Mamma. its just that the announcements on the vaccine front have been encouraging (and that's great). ppl thinking no need for stay at home food stocks. destocking story will play next, imo.
Will PFD be in the FTSE 250 when the SP is circa 125p ?
Had to rely on BOO today for my daily dose of happiness !
Kale. Not scared at all. Just wishing I'd cashed in at 96p last week so could buy back today
retrace was to be expected. The sp can't keep rising everyday. Most of the people invested here including long timers are in profit so expect some to sell out or top slice. BUT the basic fundamentals have not changed. This is still going to go up in the medium term (1-3 months) and should be £2 by the end of the year.
PFD Premier Foods down for no apparent reason -9%.
I did leave on thursday but now back in. Small P/E of just 13 going forward, looks like a golden opportunity to get in now on the cheap.

Grabbed some more at 83.42, didn’t think I’d see that price again. Nor do I hope to see it again in the future .
That's a helluva tree shake
Lot of rise of late a pull back at sometime all ways probably
Time for a top up
Filling an order maybe ?
Usual?
Like most longtime holders still pinching myself . But still enjoying the ride but just to make things more interesting have bought into BOO another company whose fortune looks like its going to change very soon.
You sum it up perfectly. I first bought in 2006 @ 263p for 1p shares=2,630p 10p shares now. Then RHM takeover, financial crash, rights after rights... This is the first good time since. Over the years I've bought on the 'lows' , so have a decent holding but note, I bought at £26.30 so £1 a pop looks a bargain. PS love Kallumama's research. Good luck!
Peeablo, like you and probably others i've gone through the same ups and downs
over the years just when you think its coming good it blows up in your face, fed up
with that why did'nt i sell and get out even with a small loss feeling. I decided this
time to sell enough of my stake at 67.5p to cover all my buys and left 185,000 shares
at zero cost to me sitting in my account, now with mixed feelings happy to recover
my stake money after so long but regretting the loss of profit on my sold shares,
but try not to look back.
Kallumama doing a great job. All looking positive for the future. GLA
Mobily. Bought in originally at 35p then bought some for a very reluctant wife at 27p. She cashed in at 59p and I offloaded some at 72p. Only got 12000 left now and will probably keep as a long term investment now. When your portfolio includes bem, bmr, sun and vog, and you've retired, it's time for a little rebalancing exercise
80p last Friday to just over 93p today. I would like to get to £1.10 before results to build from after results released for Q1. I do think we may start to see people taking profit so this could slow the price rise down over the next week or so but hope I am wrong. £1.50 by year end could be seen.
So your partly to blame !!!!!!
I think I do understand how promotional offers work.....I worked for PFD for thirteen years and other food companies before that.
