Second day on the trot
An update by a recognised broker would be very much appreciated too !
PFD very robust today hoping for a little rise in fact expecting this to slowly increase until we get to FTSE 250 correction .
Slow & steady nice
My contact in Oasis is saying “no change in their strategy and approach”. So it sounds like they are keeping the faith and see more upside to come.
It could be that the disposal was due to internal re-balancing of their own portfolio. De-risking when too high a percentage was in held one equity (Pfd). The recent price rise in Pfd and the general fall in other equities could have caused this.
Well they deserve some profit taking considering the time they have been invested. Paulson more so. Still find PFD quite stable, and im looking forward to September. Onwards and upwards. Nowt from Mcormick, back up to 90p and beyond next week then. No nasty surprises from the AGM and the eat out to help out scheme stops September. Covid gave us the boost we needed but back in the FTSE 250 will give the SP a nice boost.
FTSE reshuffle next takes place 2nd September - PFD will be included in FTSE250, so should see more II buying again for tracker funds.
Hmm ?
You wait for an RNS then 3 come along on a Friday afternoon!
Wonder who has bought them ?
Maybe both these holders think we have peeked at between 85p -90p so are just taking profit.
Are at it too. What’s going on ?
Just taking some profit whilst staying above 10% ?
Yep. I think they lose their seat on the board if they go below 10% so hopefully that's it for now.
Onwards and upwards...
btw , any more winners with the mr Kipling competition? i just keep drawing blanks ( which is typical for me )
Delayed buy / sell 5m shares at 85p just shown up from yesterday(?) at 1845 hrs (not U/T). Hopefully if there was a big seller out there, then PFD can now resume move north..
Were 50 million pounds worth of shares sold yesterday ? Who bought them ? It doesnt seem to have had too much of an impact to the share price. Is the new normal a gentle rise until Hovus news or further debt reduction. Sales seem good.
But it does say this
"Regarding current trading, July was a particularly strong month exhibiting a similar sales pattern to that of Q1. We continue to expect this to be a transitionary quarter, with trading normalising as consumers gradually return to eating out of the home. Our recently upgraded expectations for FY20/21 remain unchanged."
Just read it’s purely a formality with no outside attendance so as you were
Anyone expecting good news/announcements today.
Hopefully an update on pensions progress or interest in the Hovis disposal
Try telling that to Jerry Falwell Jr. ....
Probably the first pic that came up on a google image search.
There's no such thing as bad publicity.
Although it might have the opposite effect and some people think hmm I just fancy some of those !?
Good advertising! But they are so tasty, it made the share price go up, people have no discipline! lol
On sky news website there is a photo of a supermarket basket full of PFD products. The article is about the Damon’s report which says that too many people face barriers to eating a healthy diet. Why have they filled the basket with just our products ?????
