disappointing 2019 Hovis results
https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/08846818/filing-history
Im waiting for the Hovis deal to be done. I saw the news about the bids, and in the curent climate sales will be good. Dont see this reducing anytime soon with a move to home working. Good rise today, nice to see . £1 wont be far off, predictions are 1.20 to 1.30, will have to wait for the results in November, but more likly next year. Winter will be a big boost for us.
With what is appearing of major lock downs for millions across the U.K, perhaps for many months this is one sector that will thrive. I expect that £1 per share is not far away.
I think this is a good indicator for eating at home levels. The level in April was double-triple the normal. Interest now is in the low 40's compared to high 30's normally. -so a little bit more but pretty much back to normal eating habits.

10 November 2020 - Half year results for the 26 weeks ending 26th September 2020
The impact on the Pets at Home SP for beating forecasts. I expect similar for Premier Foods over the next 12 months. This winter will be a repeat performance of what saw in the spring and sales are going to be through the roof. Can’t wait for the next trading update. Does anyone know when it’s due?
Is anyone aware when there will be word of Hovis bids/sale ? surely this is a contributing factor to improving the "pension niggles".

Thanks, reassuring view, I am up for the long term here, can't really see it going down much if at all, in reality. So today is as good any!
Have a good day all.
Hi All. Sometime since I posted, continued thanks to Kallumama, great optimism here, but just one niggling thought in last week. We are doing well, but with the pending pension rejig, will the result get us the benefit predicted those months ago, considering the volutility of the market?
I don't doubt the main objective, but can see a small temporary curve ball. Any thoughts welcome, as I am looking at topping up before Friday. May there be another dip, before we really get going again towards 125p
News flash, Moody's upgrades PFD to B1 from B2, outlook stable
PFD will focus on reducing debt further rather than pay any dividend, certainly nothing for 2021. This is all positive for the future and can only see further strengthening in share price, my personal target for exit is around 120-130, time line unsure, will just wait and see, after all, waited a bloody long time for any rise!!
Maybe drop in so to shake out stops and make PDF a more attractive buy?
Bouncing about quite a bit lately! RNS soon? GLA
PFD is now officially in the FTSE 250 as from 21 Sept 2020.

I would expect this if everything was open and the virus was gone. Strange
Overall markets are down but will soon bounce back and a good time for peeps to top up !
If the market is down over virus concerns, PFD should be up
To start our membership of the FTSE 250
Given the likelihood of new restrictions I think this goes higher, as linked directly to people being in more.Any obesity push will fail off people are stuck inside during autumn and winter.
Anyone know what to expect on Monday when we enter the FTSE 250. I notice we have been getting a much higher number of trades over the last week.
Stockopedia showing earnings of 9.73p to March 21 and 9.93 to March 22 - implies PE of 9.0 in March 21 and 8.8 in March 22.
Thinking this will be a good defensive stock, I fear covid will get as bad as it was in March and the range of products these guys have are great for that scenario, and solid household names notwithstanding that. Not in here at the moment but liquidating all my other positions at the moment looking for a place to park the cash. Getting the jitters...
What’re the p/e forecasts for 2020 for these? I’ve a feeling it’s lower than 7 looking at the Q1 update?
GLA
Somethings happening! Crazy high volume as well with big buys / sells after the bell.
Looking forward to next week.
100p + here we come..

Last half hour jump in for Monday.
Great rise this week. Can’t believe for once I got in on a low point. Surly heading to 100p this time. It just needed to consolidate for a while.
Back in favour again then, lockdown gitters impacting everything else.look forward to next week.
Another national lockdown being discussed now. With pubs and restaurants potentially closed. Can see that lighting a fire under the SP if it happens. Plus Hovis news, ftse250 upgrade and moving into our sales strong period over the winter. Plenty to keep the momentum going.
