Of course, a forward thinker, would look at these applications positively, in that, it is not a case of IF Covid or some other disease re-occurs, it is more likely a case of WHEN? So, global patents and coverage in the most populated area's, such as EU / USA and India, would be a good start, perhaps even China, if it proves more reliable than the cheap rubbish, our Gov bought from them last time! The only weapon in a PI's arsenal at this time is patience, its that or surrender... #backtothedayjob :)
Looking at the USA trademark application for the name NOVACYT i see this was filed around the time it finished it's 60 days in the UK trademark journal early November 2021.Obviously Novacyt knew there had been no objections to the use of the name and went ahead with the USA application .The date people were seeing earlier today regarding the 14/05/21 is when the UK application was first made . Hopefully there should be an update on USA site if they keep to their timescales.
What I also saw in the link that was posted earlier is that the name LAB21 was trademark registered in the USA in 2011 .As of the 20/01/22 this trade marking of the name LAB21 was closed . This seems to fit in with the narrative of bringing everything under one name.
ASR stands for Analyte Specific Reagent. ASRs are regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA created this regulatory status to ensure availability of individual reagents meeting specific quality requirements for clinical laboratories to use in developing Laboratory Developed Tests
So you are probably correct Exmex thx.
Analyte Specific Reagent? Best I can do on that one .
ARS's for US ?

Novacyt has an incredible Life Science / RUO portfolio that helped shape our company prior to the pandemic.
We are now working to add menu to this portfolio, with ASRs for US as an example, as well as re-ignite and focus on our solutions across Human Pathogen, Veterinary, Food and Water testing.
To help drive this we are looking for an experienced Head of Global Product Management to join our team.
If you have experience in the Life Science and Research segments and are looking for an exciting challenge as well as career development, please get in touch.
Pi . 896 negative posts & counting! Seriously life is too short. If you think the company is going nowhere and heading for liquidation in the future why on earth are you not selling. Rescue what is left of your initial investment and put it into a company you have some belief in.
Caveman70 @ 13:44, "Cracking response , Gromit", have you managed to hack the sh@t filter?
Not for me thanks, BYP. I am on the champagne these days as a result of my “paid work as a deramper”.
PI100, just heading to the kitchen, you want a coffee? Then we can try again to get Valju to sell his shares.
Paper airoplane Not sure anything associated with this share could FLY?
Amers, at this rate we’ll long have been liquidated by then.
Thanks Pig
Other than make a paper aeroplane out of the share certificates, I’m not sure.
I am leaving these shares for my Gran Daughter in my will and She can only sell them, when She's 21 years old. Currently she is 16 months, I am sure she will be able to recoup my losses by then. Any other suggestions, as to what else can be done with this ****e.
Firstly, you are not happy with this share or the company and want out. Anyone can read that from your history Valju https://www.lse.co.uk/profiles/valju/
Your conspiracy theories are getting worse, so now people have jobs to decry a bb? How much does that job pay to ultimately force you to sell your 1000 shares to add to the massive pile of shares the MMs are holding onto?
#Valjuhasntgotascoobydoo
understanding, dont make me laugh, oh you just did... by all means stand by the joke, or are you sat next to each other...?
it matters not, you dont filter people because its IMO your job to decry them, if the need occurs...
oh Im happy with this share, as there is a possibility it will become a leading global diagnostics Co, and unlike a few others, it has a cat in hells chance of succeeding, unlike some others?
Happy, nope you never are :)
At least he or she has some understanding of the business and market mechanics. I’d rather hear both sides of the argument rather than someone just getting angry of someone’s view with no reasoning. What are you happy about with this share Valju?
Im actually looking forward to the same info from PI100 ?
rather than always unhappy... as Kaeren stated, we have all had the chance to exit, prior to these drops, trouble is.... when is enough enough?
Seems, like Oliver, most want more?
Caveman70…..rather than knocking boulders together and screaming profanities at PI100, perhaps you could share your research on this share and put forward a positive motion as to why this is such a great investment. It’s just that I haven’t see anything in your 66 post history that helps any investor past or present here.
Look forward to reading your insight of this stock.
Hey Karen, what a great response from a well researched & respected poster. I very much doubt P100 will listen, as he promised to leave when he lost a bet with another LTH!
Go on, I'll humor it...
1: Bio bought it over 5%
2: Tata are regularly conversing via different media's with likes and posts about Nova's range
3: Until we know for sure, there is still the possibility of a 100mil staying with us and then compensation? It remains positive until "known" it is negative and why rns we feel we have strong grounds to assert our contractual right... if not strong I doubt they would have rns'd?
4: So many poo poo Nova on go on and on and on about the negatives and why we should all sell and try else where (like elsewhere is any better?) and have done so, now, for months..
Why would they do this if so bad, why not just move on to next task they have been set?
#MORETOTHISTHANMEETSTHEEYE even if sp is way below (imo) where it should be?
The potential is huge , diagnostic testing has been thrust into the focus of public attention and covid has accelerated this by many years. Poc testing will becoming the go to testing regime for many diseases. This is what the plan has been all along. This is what one of the biggest brands in the world Tata MD and Tata1mg are attempting to do in India. The sheer fact they have selected our instruments to trial is extremely encouraging to say the least.
Biosynex obviously are interested in our instruments with their extensive pharmacy connections for the same reasons.
The huge arsenal of tests that Novacyt have are a great starting point and no doubt the latest regulations that come into force starting May have taken up a considerable amt of R&D's time to ensure they are all compliant.
Next some of those tests , along side new assays need to be converted from RUO to make them more commercial.
The fact we have POC instruments that can be used outside side of a lab , can be used in remote locations , can process 32 tests per hour , intact 5 instruments can be run against one pc is unique in POC testing. Most Poc is cartridge based , one test at a time. I think there are plenty of positives and I have touched on a minuscule amount and it is why I remain invested. It's all stuff you are aware of P100 yet elect to add nothing of value and just whine. It is tiresome , sure we all spit the dummy on occasions, myself included but at least in balance I attempt to contribute research. Quite obviously it's all a bit of fun for you , some of us aren't amused. Take a moment to reflect. If invested you pushed the button , you had the opportunity to sell on several occasions in profit and later at break even. Own your decisions and grow a pair.
Woe, woe and thrice woe!
I’d love to but what is positive. Name 3 things that are positive for a ncyt shareholder at the current time.
It is edgey but, somehow, I am doubting you actually hold, no real proof, just gut feeling..
Try the occasional positive post rather than down down deeper down and you might find others warm to your "losses" ?
anyway lots to do, people to see and places to go... mainly the sandwich van cuz I am famished :)
