Handy111 , first stage is to recoup all my money £710K . anything more is just luck . I just want to recoup my money back . Its a lot of money , hard lesson for me to learn this , not to ever invest so much again !
Interesting - why would they have been restricted in what r&d news they could release?
if they win and the sp rockets due to cash - then it should stay there for a bit. however they need to start generating more profits.
would they have been planning for ygen so far ahead? or was it an opportunity that evolved quite rapidly from LR cash mismanagement?
i agree they dont care about share price or shareholders...lets face it we are just an inconvenience for them
At what point are they obliged to comment on the rise up over 50% in last week or so ?
So either a no known reason for rise RNS or……….
Hi captain ...platforms ....maybe novacyt after court settlement will be less restricted in what R/D news can be released ......share price will need support based on... just ... a cash settlement ...I don't believe they've been inactive this length of time ..or yougene deal was not planned a year ahead .....novacyt do not care about share price ...
When you reach your target price to get your money back WBAFC are you going to sell and run ? Or leave it in to get loads of profit ?
We all as happy as Larry Larry today
A big whopping 120K and 60K buy today on French stock market . People are loading up now and hopefully this reaches £3 before DHSC case . Almost 1M volume yesterday on French side
Gizmo - can you elaborate on what you are hinting?
I am interested on your take
I don’t really know anything about them to be honest.
Hi HarChris ...... What part of pacbio losing ....how does this benefit.... future fields
In my best Italian Mario voice
'It's a coming!'
Have to say, it is about time, Nova, was valued at cash PLUS the court case cash due... instead of all this "what if" imo... especially with the tax / vat off sets... been negative for far to long imo!
When you look at Pacbio's balance sheet you start to realise what a rare position Novacyt is in in have such a strong net cash position and no debt. For example Pacbio was valued at $3b as recently as mid 2023 with net debt of $700m and significantly loss making, even at the ebitda level.
All it will take is very modest profitability whilst remaining debt free for Novacyt to be valued many, many times what it is now.
A few of us were saying this Wilson around the time of the YG acquisition as Pacbio had qualified LightBench however it just seemed unlikely that such a giant would getting into a bidding war with little Novacyt - after all Pacbio was valued at $3B at the time.
Funnily enough they themselves have seen their value crash nearly 90% since the start of 2024.
On my rudimentary early morning searching perhaps yourgene would have been a good purchase for pacbio.
And with less accurate test %,s than Nova/Gene ?
Gizmo , is this what you are talking about.
https://www.fiercebiotech.com/medtech/pacbio-plots-budget-cuts-after-dna-sequencing-revenue-shortfalls
Looking at the turnover over of Pacbio , it gives me great encouragement that Yourgene can bring in huge revenues and create shareholder value.
Nothing to get concerned about imo Gizzmo.
Hi Kaeren . Thank you 👍
Gizmo U of HK ?
No valju I've always been invested with min vote level ....but now I'm a bit heavier ...pacbio are relevent ....I've always been upfront in my strategy ....it was a no brainer leading up to court .....and I will depart during proceedings .....yougene path and purchase is not for me
And when I say problems, Nova’s will be having a big enough SAFE to put all that cash & compo in :) again imo :)
Not same problems if im understanding your cryptic post Giz?
Or are you betting against nova? This close to court, could be foolish?
imo dyor
Hi Kaeren .....pacbio ..problems ...
JM being the careful man he is probably took it home & stuffed it under his mattress
Let's hope NCYT have had the bulk of their monies locked into a high interest account.
From the date of the claim to now the Libor now Sonia rate has changed dramatically. The interest will be substantial , would be good if they could demonstrate what they earnt on x amt already to the courts.
