Mr Positive posted an excerpt earlier today that Matd believes should Velociraptor be successful they will be able to produce 90k barrels per day by 2028 with a CAPEX of $5 per barrel. That is absolutely insane. $5 per barrel? Wow!
I’ve always loved fantasising about what could be and this had me wondering all day about what this means to those of us willing to see things through.
If, and it’s a big IF, that happens then Matd would make $1.8 billion a year profit before tax at $60 per barrel. If Matd awarded 10% to shareholders as dividends then that would be equivalent to 18p per share.
Then I imagine what if the price of oil was $100 per barrel? Well it would be $3.1 billion per year profit or 31p per share dividend.
That is just Velociraptor if successful. Fox would provide the same again if successful. So would Phoenix.
Heron is just under one third the size of Velociraptor but it also has the potential to provide dividend generating profits and that is the significance of the granting of the LP.
So if Velociraptor, Fox and Phoenix are all successful and each of them produce 90k barrels of oil per day then this company can realise a profit of over $5.4 billion a year before tax.
We currently have an mcap that reached $50m today. In 4 or 5 years time our annual profit could be 100 times our current mcap.
Then we have our renewable energy project to think about and the other targets.
It’s scary but it’s worth thinking about if you are considering selling below 10p per share.
Might not sleep tonight lol.
I'd be happy with a 10p dividend if they do intend to pay any - I've amassed over 1m shares in here! By my reckoning, that'd be £100k+. If it was an annual thing, well........ (excuse the pun)
Happy retirement here I come.
Excellent post again mr D1nger and show why MATD really is potential to be life changer stock BUT reason I pick MATD is all this potential have best safety for me to invest.
1) FULLY FUNDED
2) ALREADY HAVE OIL ASSET which LP unlock revenue
3) FAST GROWTH PLAN using production revenue not dilution
4) DQE PARTNERSHIP to fast track growth/revenue
5) EL extend into multi billion proven & in place oil Toson Uul Basin
6) Mining Minister, CEO & British Ambassador confirm LP coming VERY soon & mr Master info back this up
7) Renewable JV set up and Mongolia has one of largest potential in world for this with energy export to China also
8) New oil block some bigger then Quatar which MATD apply & arrange with Mongol Govt. Intel say Mongolia could be new Saudi Arabia

750 k buy at 8am.
140 trades in an hour.
Thanks blissful............wow............this is scarily exciting
If that were to happen it would be fantastic and really opens the door to the big institutions coming on board as the Pension funds would not want to miss out on that..
But the question i have at the back of my mind is if all this comes off ie Velociraptor, Fox and Phoenix would not one of the big boys want to get in on the act and we would get sold on. I can see us doing a deal with DQE to exploit Heron but are we really big enough and is DQE big enough tor us to produce that sort of barrellage accross this range of fields so consistently. I know that Shell i think it was sold out to us some time ago but that was in a pre-pandemic world and have since mothballed a number of their marginal fields and was wondering if the finds were big enough and or commercial enough they would want back in. The problem there would be access to a refinery.until Mongolia's is up and running. Rather than wait for it all and miss out a rise in price of taking profit a sell on to a major would work very nicely for my pocket. But live in hope. GLA
I think some of you guys are getting a bit ahead of the game. Any production from Heron is likely to be quite low for starters until more wells a drilled & even IF the drilling of new fields yields worthwhile finds they surely won't come into production before the refinery is up and running.
MATD would probably make more money over the long term going it alone. But if a Shell type company came in now and offered 20-30p, I’m sure most would agree to it. My average in price is 2.95p, so I’d be delighted by a 10x bagger. But let’s get LP first.
Bad . Where do you think PC is selling oil.
You talk rubbish.
Amazing for sb who has no interest but 24/7 giving advice to shareholders!
What is wrong with him?
Mental?!
BP - you can see I’m more of a realist here but would counter that the market is typically forward looking and IF that blasted LP ever arrives, the SP could spike significantly quite fast, before settling back down. In fact, I’d put money on this spiking some 100% past where it eventually settles. So potentially an opportunity to lock in some very nice profits and buy back in later at a much lower price, to then ride it back up again.
My problem? I’m a useless trader and always get the timing wrong.

Some big numbers coming through this morning, more sells than some were maybe expecting. Let's keep it real, we only have the LP when notified, until then, we don't. We've been here before and been dissapointed, but I feel we're on the cusp of something good, but let's keep it realistic in our future expectations. ATB
Nup, I agree with BP.
Once they pump the oil there is no route to market.
If only someone could invent a thing with 4 wheels, an engine and a big tank on the back to store all the oil.
Almost as funny as BP’s… ‘even if they get a land permit they’re doomed. I know a company selling oil that makes a loss’ comment. Personally I know a few oil companies that made a LOT of money last year :)
